    Thunderstorms forecast for Singapore weekend

    Eek!
At the very least it might make this race more interesting. Aside from the night-time aspect, I find it pretty dull.

Looking at how things have gone in this season, perhaps it's the only chance we have delaying the inevitable

No way. If it rains, we wont be winning this. We need it to be dry.
Its a street circuit and we have soft and supersoft tyres. We stand a strong chance of winning, and rain can only spoil that.

It is the monsoon season down here in this region right now. IMO, the only way there can be a race if its just a light shower, or a drying track. If it really pours during the race, I don't see how they can carry on without red flagging the race.

I wonder what's the rule for night race though. Since there's no daylight, so how do they decide how late is too late to race, should the race gets postponed.

I thought last years race was fairly entertaining. Wondering whether Vettel would pass Alonso or not was race long.

I'd rather not have rain, we have a good chance of winning this one.

wasnt rain being forecast last year aswell?

isnt this like the same place as Kuala Lumpur, where it rains evening time, and stops around 4 or something?

even if it does rain, the race may end up being canceled. the glare from the lights would make some bad visibilty at night.

    and look at this, guys.

I think they forecast rain every year but it usually comes earlier in the day if at all?

I love Singapore in the dry anyway, it's always great to watch the cars under lights with all the sparks. Watching Alonso and Kimi drift their cars round in practice in 09 was awesome too.

Might just add bit of excitement to the race. They say it every year. We'll see, got few days before weekend, might change come Friday.

Maybe the rain will wash the haze away.

I don't know. So far Vettel has won every dry race except China due to bad tyre strategy (early in the season). He hasn't won a wet race (Canada,Silverstone,Nurburgring, Hungary).

If it rains it wont be race in Singapur. Water will reflect artificial lights and the race will be suspended.
