What happened today is just too much. We were slower (compared to Bulls and McLarens) than at the start of the season.

it's not like Domenicali was given only 5 races to prove himself like Gianpiero Gasperini. At least Montezemolo is not as trigger happy as Moratti (with reference to Gasperini's recent sacking)

You are right. Ferrari is just wasting his enormous talent with cars like this one. Years are passing... Other are taking titles...

Someone kinda asked me earlier why am I always so optimistic? Well, I can tell you I still believe 100% in our team, and having lived through tougher times even than now (as some others have) I also know that we will rise above this and we will be winners again - just like in the early 2000's. It will happen, and it will be all the sweeter having been thought a little pain.

Mind you, I would feel a heck of a lot better if stupid Lewis actually got his come-upance!

    And, as ever... Forza Ferrari!!!!

And yet again Ramilton gets away with it------what's a drive through. The guy is dangerous and he needs to be taken in hand.
I bet Felipe is furious especially after the incident at quali
As for the race well RB just shows how far they are in front of the field.
    Good race JB

I hope that the one that said about" reability" cares now about the morale of our drivers by assuming is all responsability.Too bad , too bad really.

What can I say to that, it is just so excepted! The rest of the season is going to be very long for us Ferrari fans

"I cannot judge what he did in his time at Renault and McLaren but I have worked with World Champions Schumacher, Villeneuve and Raikkonen and Fernando is the one who impresses me the most," said Gene.

We were pretty slow at the start too.

I expect 5th and 6th will be the maximum for the remaining races, unless someone does something stupid (again).

Seems Massa and Hamilton had some words after the race. EJ doesn't think Hamilton deserved a penalty. It's that attitude that keeps Lewis doing these things.

try telling that to the legions who fell in love with Ferrari through Schumacher. to see their former hero crashing out of the race, and the tough times that they are seeing now and will be seeing again for the times to come

This car is trash, at this rate we will finish the season behind Mercedes, sacrifice the F150 to Satan for a good car next year before it's too late. Hamilton was idiotic today ruinning Felipes race but he didn't have a chance of the podium and neither Alonso.

What could Felipe do differently? Eddie is making me think he has some kind of brain damage.

change the car, and change the staff as well? as for Hamilton, he is definitely one party spoiler since he has no chance of winning anyway and he will probably have no qualms facing the stewards again and again

Well, Fernando brought a car that belonged on 5th in on 4th place......and that's all positive I can see in this race.
Felipe screwed once again by that British moron...and according to Felipe the guy did not even understand Felipe was mad.

Well, to be honest, I can't say I'm shocked by the results today.

We have to remember that we gave up on this season quite some time ago, and so the gap between us and Red Bull/ McLaren will naturally grow. Since then, any podium finish by Alonso is a pleasant bonus, but today's result is more realistic. And I think this will be the picture for the rest of the season as everyone would have focused on 2012 by now.

So we'll just have to endure results like this for few more races until 2011 ends Any anticipation we have should be saved for next year.

Well, as others have said, this is how McLaren fans felt when Schumi wrap up the title in 2002/2004. Dreadful for the rest of the season.

Fernando said it well: just enjoy the last 5 races and use them to test 2012 components and ideas, we can catch nobody and nobody can catch us, we are and will be 3rd in the WCC.
Fernando has accepted the situation and is looking forward. Great attitude for what must be a very disappointed man.

It's pretty amazing to see Fernando is still fighting for 2nd place in the championship with a car that is only good enough for P5.

Not to take anything away from Alonso, he's one of the best if not the best driver on the grid today, and yeah with a car like F2004, he would be invincible. I don't think anyone can beat him even if you gave all of them the same car.

But I think its not appropriate for us to keep saying Alonso deserve a better car or something from Ferrari, because he is part of Ferrari. So that would be like saying Ferrari deserve a better car. Of course Ferrari will always strive to build the best car, and both Alonso and Massa is a part of this very same team building the car. Both our drivers are a part of that team building the car, so its not about Ferrari giving them something they deserve, but they play their role together in building a car. No one is giving anyone anything

I just wonder about one thing though: how much longer will McLaren accept what Hamilton is doing? He ruins races for others but also for his own team. The car can do a lot better in the hands of a good driver, Jenson is showing that.
There must come a time where Whitmarsh and others will say: to here and no further. You must either change or look for another team. And given Hamiltons reputation that could prove to be more difficult than he believes it will be.
