    Yeah baby!

I wonder if there's any correlation between Scarbs articles this week on the RB t-tray and their sudden loss of performance? Might have been on a different program for the practice - that might have explained it although you do usually spend at least some of P3 setting up for Q.

If they are just as "off the pace" in Q it will look pretty sus.

True, still both cars did seem uncharacteristically off pace.... Or am I just hoping?

Vettel will pull something out of the bag when time comes, maybe not pole, but who knows.
Meanwhile, it either says something or just nothing that Alonso, Schumacher and Raikkonen have reputedly spared a F1 podium on five occasions and Fernando has stood on the top step on every occasion. He's F1's first among equals. (PG)

Beyond a doubt and they have a huge incentive as this is their 700 race, so I'm sure they really want to perform well. Maybe they've cranked that overrun up a few extra notches again

I did expect it, P5 and P6 is nothing new for us this season...we can only hope of better longruns-pace and that opponent will destroy its tires earlier than us...

Wow, Lewis P1. Didn't see that one coming. Lewis didn't look like he had a perfect lap on his 2nd run, did twitch a little at times, but still managed to pull ahead.

    McLaren is certainly moving forward.

Looks like we aew testing parts for next year.. but what are Mclaren doing? they are quick or as quick as RBR !! and lets not forget the cars will not be that much different than this years... lets just hope Ferrari have a master plan in 2012 and stop looking at RB's cars and make our own rocket...

Typical possitions but the time gap is way too big. It is more than 1 second once again. I know that we stopped the development but with that gap and with what Stefano said after Japan, I have doubts about next year's car...

Just a wild guess, but I think it may be possible that RB might consider giving up on their EBD and start working on the diffuser without it. They already have their championship in hand, there's no reason for them to keep trying to win. Since EBD is no longer around next year, its best they learn to do without it now.

What did he say? I thought this lemon has nothing to do with next years car? we are building a totally different and more agressive car...

I belive the lack of EBD next year will be our only hope for a winner unless we can build something completely different and innovative within the regulations... what escapes me is how a team like Ferrari with their endless resources cannot find the solution, I believe if a winning car is not produced next year hard questions will be asked and a clean out performed...

Mostly I feel bad for the team that work sooo hard all year and also for our drivers that deserve better... I believe the hopes for 2012 are HUGE for everyone. my feeling is that Ferrari will not get it this wrong again and 2012 onwards will be the golden years for Alonso in Ferrari!!!

Keep in mind that an 'aggressive' car won't necessarily be fast. Williams' walrus nose comes into mind as well as this year's early McLaren (with their exhaust system)
