Would be interesting to hear the whole transmission. I think Alonso was just replying to something his race engineer tell him. Sometimes the drivers do get annoyed as the engineer tends to tell them to do this and that, just like how I think it was Kimi who once said to the team no more radio transmission.
Guess that's something will never know, if the team is concern about Massa's self confidence. Though I personally see no sign that Massa is suffering from the lack of it.
I hate it though that these kind of things always easily turn into another Felipe bashing topic.
Felipe is a very good driver, one of the best. But Fernando is just that tiny bit better overall. To me that is a fact. But that does not mean to me Felipe is a bad driver. He is not. he has shown many times he is a great driver and he also succeeds in beating Fernando in qualifying.
What happened today is a team mistake to me. Felipe has nothing to do with it. And yes, I am an Alonsofan.
You can run like the wind, but you'll never outrun the Prancing Horse
"I cannot judge what he did in his time at Renault and McLaren but I have worked with World Champions Schumacher, Villeneuve and Raikkonen and Fernando is the one who impresses me the most," said Gene.
Though your being sarcastic, MS and Alonso give the more targeted feedback a team needs to develop the car just that little bit further. Though this gets drowned out with Trolls who like to say they design and build the cars to undermine their input.
MS is a shadow of his former self on the track but already the Mercedes is beginning to gain some ground. Alonso is of that same character trait, unlike past drivers we have had, Irvine being the worst.
Alonso saying on the red button that he struggled on the first two sets of tyres and that Felipe didn't hold him up.
Good race, without mistakes at the front 5th and 6th is our place. And well done by Felipe for keeping Alonso behind so long despite a slower first stop. We all know how good Alonso is, so that must be positive for Felipe and the team.
Fernando says he wasn't quicker than Felipe when behind him.
Brundle needs to get over his dislike of Alonso, I forgot how he was never in the hunt last year. Idiot.
SCUDERIA FERRARI
Meanwhile, it either says something or just nothing that Alonso, Schumacher and Raikkonen have reputedly spared a F1 podium on five occasions and Fernando has stood on the top step on every occasion. He's F1's first among equals. (PG)
Brundle is Brundle, no more to had! They all take the mick out of him when he's on the grid!

brundle likes alonso from what I've heard.
but him and ted enjoy criticizing Ferrari. so many times they paint a picture of crisis there, and to make his point, he forgot that Ferrari were actually leading the WDC last year, so saying that alonso has never been close to the title is rubbish.
Also those times alonso did were quite something when catching button. new wing?![]()

In Stefano Domenicali, we have a team boss who has proved to be a leader. - Luca diMontezemelo
Brundle is normally the only one on BBC that gives Alonso any credit, but it did seem he was a bit off with him today for some reason, maybe Nando spoke to Tanya rather than him at breakfast or something.
Also on his grid walk he whispered to MS for a word when MS was across the other side of the grid then made out MS would never speak to him.
Forza Ferrari
Martin Brundle is the last person of the BBC team we should be complaining about.
Anyone noticed that Webber don't seems to be very enthusiastic today after the race
He did not reply to the team radio telling him that they won the WCC. And he didn't seems to say much at all to Horner before the podium, he just went straight out and was the first to go on the podium (they usually wait to let the winner step out first)![]()

In the end it was a good result for the team.
Not going to wade through the previous 9 pages on here but guessing to what a lot of the talk will be about I just want to say one thing.
If Alonso is meant to be a much better driver than Felipe then why on earth should Felipe have to move over for him. If Alonso is really that good then he should be able to pass his team mate shouldn't he?
Personally I think it was good to see both drivers being allowed to race.
I'm not trying to imply who's better than who, but the reality of overtaking is far more complex than that. Its not true that the faster driver will always be the one who can overtake everyone else and move forward. F1 cars are way too technical these days.
The biggest issue today is the reliance on the front wing to generate downforce for the front wheel. when you are following a car as closely, your front wing is not getting enough air to generate sufficient downforce and so your car won't exactly turn towards where you want it to go. In this track today, the twisty part of the circuit amplifies this problem as they are fast corners and running behind another car means that you will under-steer horribly due to the lack of front end grip. This is the biggest hindrance in overtaking today.
I didn't know that but I actually think he's like a little spy for mcmowers. In the practice for this race he was about to cry because Ferrari wouldn't show him there new front wing probably because they know how much he brown noses mcmowers. He eventually found a hand drawn picture of it by Scarbs and then making sure to emphasise that Felipe is not testing the wing but a couple of races ago he was saying how Ferrari use Felipe as a test donkey. He's really starting to sound like a broken record.
