Lol so our faster driver , should take unwanted risks to pass his team mate... When he is clearly faster then him.....team mates should work together and not against each other....same otherway around.... But to be honest i don,t see massa to happy about helping alonso..... (i wouldnt be aswell tough, constantly playing second fiddle but hey he gets paid alot for doing so)

I didn't see him being clearly faster than him until Massa pitted. When they both passed Rosberg, Massa was pulling away. He wasn't showing that he was faster until Massa pitted.

Once again pathetic strategy from ferrari, pitting later than their direct rivals and getting overtaken by rosberg and button. You would think they would have realised by now that you need to pit before your rivals, but time and time again they pit later and get overtaken in the pits.

Our drivers did what they could, but again Felipe doesn´t improve on his startingposition. Felipe can´t say traffic stoped him today. He doesn´t have the pace, and thats it.
Massa has improved from his startingposition only 2 times in 16 races.
Alonso has only dropped in raceposition vs his gridposition 3 times this year.
14 times of bad luck, thats a lot

When have you ever seen positions from teammates gifted? You're competing, and if the situation was flipped, Alonso wouldn't have given up his position either. Quit you guys' complaining about our drivers, our drivers did what they could. If anything, Alonso gave too much respect to Massa by not attempting to pass but if it were any other driver, he'd go balls to the wall to pass regardless.

He didn,t pass massa to not take risks knowing how massa defends his position against hi own team mate and letting others pass by easily....i ussualy dont take stabs at Massa but what im saying is clear to see to anyone... I can understand massa in some way he doesnt like to play second fiddle... I think it was a statement.
A statement to the team. He brought the car right up to Button , knew there was not enough time or tyre left to do more and then said this to let the team know: if you only had let me go earlier.
Has nothing to do with Felipe personally, Fernando was just faster and did not get the chance to do anything with that.

Ferrari are not in the business of getting one of their drivers to pull over and give up their position in the race purely for the benefit of the other drivers points total as a runner up. What doesnt make sense is that you only value the performance and position of one of our drivers

Thats never stopped him before though, he has passed Massa by himself on other occasions. Last time in Japan he did. "Alonso didn't want to take the risk", sorry I don't believe that. If he smells a place be it his team mate or not he goes for it, thats the way he is.

no title was on stake, I see no reason Felipe to give up his position, if Fernando was so much faster he could passed him easily. We probably were kinder to tires and Alonso was able to close the gap to Button.

There's only so much that massa could have done though, where was that tenacity like Webber on Hamilton? As a team, if he takes the position from you, he has it, if not, it's the driver from behind's problem. To not even attempt to get side by side to say hey, I'm here, I'd say Alonso is just trying to ask for the position than take what's his.

I would have called for the same if positions were reversed. I would rather see a Ferrari on the podium, any Ferrari. You say it's not for Ferrari's benefit but surely you agree that a chance of P2 and P6 is better than a P5 and a P6?

I don't want to get into an argument because we all love Ferrari here (well most of us) and I would have loved to see Massa fight for the podium but does anyone really think we would have been P6 and P7 after the restart if Alonso had been the lead driver in the first stint? I've spent two years now trying to stick up for Felipe but there comes a point when enough is enough.

Lets start with the positive.
Koreans have the best grid girls ever in Formula 1.

As for Ferrari, our highlight would be Alonso taking P5 and putting in a series of fastest lap. It shows the kind of commitment he have and the reason why Ferrari inked a deal with him till 2016.

If I have to pick a race fight of the year (thus far), it has to be Webber and Lewis. They both fought hard and fair. My most favorite race fight, in recent years in fact.

We all love a good Lewis bashing, but today, I'm impressed by the way Lewis raced against Webber. I would say Webber is the driver of the race for the move he made down the straight into P1, but Lewis comes a close 2nd today. Don't know what medication Mclaren gave Lewis but it sure is working.

Our results are as expected, no surprise. We're the 3rd fastest team and we got placed right back into that spot today. Sad to say but thats what I honestly feel about our performance at the moment.

Today we understood that we could easily get on a podium because race is a total of strategy+speed+luck which you must piece together.Being on podium was not faw away from us i think.Or to be the fastest car doesnt mean you will win all races.If we managed to do well pits we would have been there.Okay yesterday we were 1second behind but we could get it.Anyway,i wish some luck and better tactis for our team,i am leaving with celebrating my drivers and team.Try another races and bring us some victory ifyou can please.Forza Ferrari

It boils down to whether drivers are allowed to race or not by the team they drive for. Ferrari are allowed to make the call so I guess they made the choice to let them race. I do understand the point though

I'm thinking the same here.

Had Alonso been fighting for the title, I would bet my house that Ferrari would have ordered Massa to move when the both of them were stuck behind Rosberg, and let Alonso have a go at Rosberg instead.

But we're pretty done with this season so I guess the stake wasn't that high today.

Very disappointing from the team. Stuff like this should be decided before the race.

We are already hampered with the 3rd fastest car, so need the team and drivers to help each other out to get the best result for Ferrari.

Was 5th and 6th the best we could manage today? I doubt it.
