I am sure most of the upgrades apart from the Frontwing and Rearwing would disappear coming into the race weekend..

Luca Montezemolo gave 'order' to win in the United States and Ferrari are putting all eggs in one basket. This Saturday and Sunday the team is at the Spanish track of Idiada in Santa Oliva , near El Vendrell , to test aerodynamic parts.
Although the test circuit are prohibited during the season, teams are empowered to carry out 8 days straight aerodynamic test to check the wind tunnel data. Ferrari and his last burn cartridges overlooking the Circuit of the Americas next week and also for the Brazilian GP , within fifteen days, two trials in which Fernando Alonso played their title chances.
According to indiscretions, Ferrari test a new flat bottom, a new front wing and a new rear spoiler, upgraded with DRS, and seeks above all to improve in qualifying. Could not be completely new parts but some of the modified and duly tested and optimized.
The track is an oval Idiada high speed with its two main lines of over 2 kilometers and also out of sight of curious alcancede. This complex of Santa Oliva has a whole range of different types of tracks for testing new models from brands and has virtually complete occupation queesta so serious reason why Ferrari would prove at the weekend.

FERRARI FOR EVER !!!!!!!
Only allowed 4 straightline test days according to the rules, not 8.
Forza Ferrari
Little bit more fo today, have we had anyone else join the team recently? i havent heard of anyone, or unless missed that 1..
The Ferrari test all new to Idiada
The aero test is used to decide the material for Austin and Interlagos to improve the qualification

To retrieve the 10 points separating Fernando Alonso Sebastian Vettel can not leave anything to chance and that's why yesterday several Ferrari engineers have been spotted at Malpensa, where they were embarking in the direction of Spain. AERO TEST IDIADA Between now and tomorrow, in fact, the men of the Horse to exploit Idiada, near Tarragona, the last test aerodynamic available this season. A test which should in a sense try to compensate for the work done by rivals Red Bull in recent days in Abu Dhabi, during the Rookie Test NEW 'TO TRY On F2012 you should see the aero package that will be used to Austin and Interlagos: Ferrari is ready to fire each cartridge that is available to improve the competitiveness of the Red Army in comparison with Red Bull Racing. IMPROVE THE STATUS is not only refinements of the changes introduced in the latest releases in respect of wings, turning vanes and the bottom but the solutions that must be tested to make the car more competitive in qualifying, which is proving to be the real Achilles heel of Ferrari. TECHNICIAN FROM MCLAREN Already in Abu Dhabi expected results from new, but not all has worked well: in particular, the rear wing is evolving after McLaren came from a French specialist in aerodynamics who was in charge of this area of the car.

Not only is Ferrari going to push to the max in this race because they want to win the WDC and secure 2nd place in WCC, but they're also going to push because the US is the biggest market for Ferrari and so they want to do extra well there. So this race is going to be very-very important to Ferrari in every way imaginable and I think/hope that we're gonna see a much improved performance from Ferrari in this race, compared to all the previous races."Luca Montezemolo gave 'order' to win in the United States and Ferrari are putting all eggs in one basket."
Maybe they made a mistake confusing McLaren and Mercedes.

This is what I don't get: Ferrari are able to push the rules when it comes to testing and working longer during race weekends, but somehow they're unable, or don't want to push the rules when it comes to upgrades for the car. Why? Basically, if RB are cheating, why aren't we?
Red cows arecheats
so many areas where they cheat,,,
flexi wing , engine mapping , low fuel in quali , liquid weight distribution, flex nose, changed car height at canada in parc ferme , and all other things were they cheat and we don't come to know..
total cheats...
and they have FIA as their puppets as they bring so much money to the sport..(my opinion!)
what a disgrace to F1......
the competition should be fair and on the track...
Red bull is the worst thing happened to F1...cows...
Ferrari all the way!!

Cheating is not our way to win, and I am so proud of that !
You could talk all day long about RB dirty tricks. When all their gizmos passes the FIA inspection it is up to us and respond and bolt on the same things.
We have always said in season development is one of our strengths. I thinks its true to a certain degree. We often develop very fast in the beginning of the season.
But then it all stalls for some reason.
I donīt know if it is because the car from start had pretty big flaws. Meaning that when you correct a problem the gain is huge.
At the middle of the season its more about finetuning.
But anyway, RB has come up with new exhasust, new nose, new drs and so on. They made big gains at the end when they needed them the most.
We havenīt been able to do that.
Windtunnel is a problem, yes, but it has been a problem for to long.
If we donīt win this, its hats of to Red Bull. Pushing the limits is what is all about. Iīve said that a thousand times. You canīt be nice and play by the rules like a schoolboy.
Remember during Schumis year. We were much more agressive in rule interpetation back then.

Get Briatore back! Then we'll atleast have a diff approach to the sport!
BIANCHI IDIADA WHEEL WITH A NEW REAR
Ferrari test parts of the final assault
All that will give a minimal improvement to Austin
Ferrari burn his ships in Spain. The Scuderia has worked against the clock in recent weeks to bring new parts to the two races to decide the title. So while Fernando Alonso was beaten at Maranello simulator circuit Austin learning themselves, the test team is in Spain for a vital aerodynamic test.
The Frenchman Jules Bianchi was responsible for yesterday's shoot Idiada airfield. Each Formula 1 team is entitled to only four days a year of such tests and the Italian is the all saved for last. In fact, the latter intended to exhaust today. Everything depends on a weather forecast not in their favor because the threat of rain is very high in this area of Tarragona.
However, and even if it is only to shoot straight in a very long time and again, the test is also vital because Ferrari aims to demonstrate that it tested in the wind tunnel with the actual data block on a track. This is the main concern in the squad rossa therefore warned as Stefano Domenicali in Abu Dhabi, does not want to risk putting improvements without testing before.
But now they have no choice but to risk and are only included in a Pronatura well, if they see that may be useful, go to Texas and Brazil.
Improvements focus on the rear of the car , which behaved seen the appointment of Yas Marina did not work right everything they wished, as Pat Fry himself admitted. This is a new rear wing and diffuser umpteenth variation. Anything goes for the Red Bull tenths scratch.

"All that will give a minimal improvement to Austin"
that`s not good if this is true
"Diffuser umpteenth variation"....now that made me laugh![]()
Yea, I agree, minimal improvement might not be enough to turn the tide in our favour. But who knows, perhaps even the "minimal improvements" will help bring out the car's full potential. I don't think that it's important how many new updates Ferrari will bring, it's getting those updates to work properly which is the most important thing. Quantity of the new parts is not as important as quality of the new parts. Sometimes one little change on the car can be much more useful than a big change.
