Good to see that the general consensus is that they were wrong to penalise Felipe. I'm not surprised he was fuming. I wouldn't like to think it was down to Herbert, but...![]()

Mac litterally did the old 1, 2 on Lewis , they switched favorite drivers. That's not supposed to happen in F1. Yes Massa should stay far away from Lewis. He's after Button not him, so don't get in his way. Lewis would rather wreck than continue losing to Button. What Lewis needs is the likes of a Jean Todt in his pocket to tell Button to let Lewis pass. He for sure had that before with Ronnie boy. And all was well with him. Vettel's ride ain't helpin the situation either, but IMO the real torn in his butt is Button showing him up big time.

"Michael showed that he is the greatest. He stole the show today. And he did that without even winning the race." comments from Willi Weber
I am sure that i will get slammed for this.. but in my honest opinion I think that both drivers need to be suspended from a few races for this nonsense. In the face of 2 deaths in motorsports this month I believe that this will stop being amusing once someone in F1 is killed because of it.
I don't think that all the safety regulations F1 has can prevent someone getting hurt if these 2 continue to play dirty.
we're number one
Nope, I won't slam you for it, but I don't agree either. First of all, Felipe has done nothing and I mean NOTHING this year that would justify him being suspended. Six times they have collided and six times it was not Felipe's mistake.
Maybe Felipe could have avoided it this time, but he clearly has no intention to do so -and that is his right. His fans agree with him and so do a lot of people. At first I thought it would have been better to avoid these problems a little, but I must agree that it is not a racingcar driver's way to do that.
Hamilton is the only one who could possibly qualify for such a harsh penalty. But I don't think it would be the right way.
I've said it before: one room and four men, Felipe, Lewis, Stefano and Martin. And then talk about it and solve it. No press, just these four men.
You can run like the wind, but you'll never outrun the Prancing Horse
Massa is very talkative lately.

Massa's interview. The highlight: 'Yes, I think i'm better than Alonso'
Notice: it's from AS.com, not very reliable newspaper. Translation could be mistaken.
Someone should gag him, no more talking Felipe
Off course he believes he is better, no shock there.

Ferrari has a 2nd driver?
Why did no one tell me this before?
I thought it was only Alonso and just a few test drivers!
The future is RED
Shut up Felipe!

The saying goes, "Show me your friends and I'll tell you who you are." Massa is a very close friend of our former #2 driver. I can't remember the guys real name. But he's well know around here as the crybaby, the moaner, etc. So I guess Felpe can rightfully be called "Crybaby #2 " His buddy being in this case #1. Next thing you know Massa will be accused writting a book how he was wrongfully treated as a #2 guy at Ferrari. And throw in how Lewis also ruined his 2011 season.
One day he will wake up and be free of the demons......
"Luna faccia schiaffo testa"
I called the incident wrong when I saw it, yet another bonehead move from Lewis going for a gap that was always going to close. He even said himself he tried to back out of it and half hearted moves never work.
Saw from the Mclaren team radio that his engineer said "You have nothing to be sorry for Lewis. Massa was penalised for the incident" or something to that effect. Are they just going to continue cuddling Lewis and letting him drive like an idiot? He's losing them alot of points, Button can give Vettel a proper run for his money in that car so it must be pretty good!
All top drivers should believe they are the best, it's part of their psychological training. Otherwise they wouldn't fight as hard on track.
I don't think there's anything wrong with Massa, he has always defended hard.
Hamilton seems a bit all over the place lately but IMO it's because Button is consistently beating him, he bragged to all that would listen that he beat Fernando and he believed he would break all records, yet not only is Vettel the one doing so (a driver he considers a Mansell compared to him and Alonso being Senna and Prost), but is being beaten on equal equipment by someone he probably doesn't even consider a rival. No amount of talking with Massa will solve that. Next year, in a better car, when he beats Button he will likely perform better. But that's only part of the problem, the main problem isn't as easy to solve: Hamilton has always raced very hard, to the extreme -and sometimes beyond, as seen with his amount of penalties and reprimands- of the rules and IMO bullying the opposition. With a not so fast car and other drivers fed up with him, they are just no longer conceding position as easy as before, yet he is still trying the same tactics.
At least that's how I see it.

* One final note: my take on the collision yesterday between Hamilton and Massa was that, as Massa said, he braked later than Hamilton on the grippy racing line, which is why you see him surge ahead half a car length just before he turns in. He told us yesterday evening he knew that Hamilton was inside before he braked and his mistake therefore was thinking that by braking later he’d got far enough ahead to turn in.
Compare this to the various battles Alonso and Webber have had lately, including in the opening laps on Sunday. Every time they try to pass they give each other room and that’s what Massa should have done in this incident. To turn in as he did, he knew that a collision was almost certain and that’s why he got a penalty.
Alonso and Webber respect each other and therefore do not collide. You can fill in the gaps for yourself.
