F1 has to be one of the most Fickle sports of all time.

Vettel has the best car by a mile =Vettel is one of the fastest one lap qualifiers of all time along with Senna

Hulkenberg gets one lucky pole by getting the dry tyres up to temp = Hulkenberg legitmately outqualifies ferrari and mclaren = he is future world champion.

Di Resta beating sutil by a tenth or two in qualifying = Sutil has been overrated his whole career and has been underperforming for years.

You out of your minds? Sutil is about to get sacked from Force India for crying out loud!

And debutant Paul Di Resta on 21 points, and Sutil - who is in his 4th season in F1 - is on 30 points. So 9 points difference between a debutant and someone with about 4 years F1 experience. I rest my case.

And again, Hulkenberg, who in his first season in F1 was up against someone who had 20 freaking years experience in the sport! And how was that pole position lucky? He made the most of the changing weather conditions and was on the right tyre at the right time, and if I remember correctly, was the last man over the line on a drying track on intermediate tyres, while everyone else set their Q3 times on extreme wet tyres.

Why this hate against Di Resta and Hulkenberg and all the love for Sutil?

Who on earth has been telling you Hulkenberg is a future world champ?

Whoever it is, stop listening now

F1 is fickle, 2 months ago you were putting Webber in a Ferrari, now its Sutil......

I was putting Webber in a ferrari?

Oh yes, ONLY I WAS SAYING MARK WEBBER WOULD/COULD MOVE TO FERRARI

Despite the autosport poll which at one point had 70% of votes saying Webber would most likely be a ferrari driver next year.

Apparently saying ''Anyone for sutil?'' = putting Sutil in a ferrari.

    Like I said.....Fickle.

And I would still have webber at ferrari over massa, I dont believe him and vettel have exactly the same cars/mappings etc.

Ok I give up, you clearly implied Sutil for Ferrari or what else are you talking about? You also implied we should get Hulkenberg, when you say we who do you mean?

I hope you have learned not to trust Autosport polls then since they are so wrong

I would like to hear peoples opinions on sutil to ferrari, simple as that, there are several drivers i would like to see alongside alonso, Sutil is NOT at the top of that list, but he is in consideration. In My opinion....

    Button would be ideal (impossible)

Webber would be ideal (near impossible)

But as far as more realistic prospects go, I dont see why Sutil is such a bad idea considering who is available.

    Webbers contract was up.

He was rated as a top driver.

He hadnt signed for a team

Alonso is one of his best mates

Ferrari are known to be looking at a driver to partner alonso going forward.

    Shock Horror......a link was made.

So how about the rumours that Sutil is about to be sacked by Force India then? He's clearly not that good!

Despite Stefano saying when the line up changes he would be going for experience with a younger up and coming driver.

Rated by who as a top driver? F1 is so fickle I guess to rate Webber as a top driver

A link was made... by who? People on internet forums?

Stefano Domenicali said over the summer how the next few years at Ferrari, 2013 onwards, would be a young up and coming driver alongside Alonso, not someone who's getting close to the end of their career. I'll rather believe what the Team Principal says, shock horror!!

But I think he said that AFTER webber had practially signed, anyways, some rumors are steeped in truth.

Rumours: Alonso signed for 2010 to replace Kimi

Ferrari: Kimi has a contract for next year.

So Ferrari dont always tell it like it is.

Anyways, webber is not coming to ferrari now so hey.

Indeed, Force India ARE making a mistake! Never mind that they're a fairly well respected midfield F1 team, they are absolutely useless without your vision of picking talented drivers, clearly!

I think you should send in your CV to Mr. Vijay Mallya as a matter of urgency, as he is clearly making a huge error without taking your advice!

Sutil would just glass people at Maranello (allegedly) so best we stay clear of him IMO

He is awesome though, it's like watching MS in the Benetton all those years ago, or Alonso in a Minardi, you can just see the talent shining Sutil is a decent average driver, but really I don't think Ferrari need to be looking at him.

Never really seen anything from Sutil to suggest he is that brilliant. I think there are stonger drivers than him.

I think so..... because If I ran an F1 team, I wouldnt get Hulkenberg to replace sutil based on previous form.....

What happened when Hukenberg was in the same car as Barichello?

Oh yeah.......Isnt Maldonado doing better against Barichello than Hukenberg did?

Suprised they arent replacing Di Resta with Maldonado.....

Mind you, as you yourself said....They are replacing sutil.....that must mean sutil isnt that good....OH WAIT, he's beating his highly rated teammate......yep, using that logic, he must be rubbish

The Williams car is a dog and has scored virtually no points so I don't think that is a fair comparison. Sutil should be outscroing Di Resta, he's been there long enough and Di Resta is a rookie. Not sure why that is surprising. I think Di Resta has had a very strong season for a rookie, given how long it takes rookies to get up to speed in recent years (lack of testing), and I will be surprised if he doesn't retain his seat.

Dunno, on one lap pace, apparently he is good, but there are question marks over the race craft. Incidentally, thats the area which massa lacks too.

Ps. Yes, I think Rosberg would do a better job too, thats just my opinion.
