I'm probably late, but I just came across this upcoming video game Test Drive Ferrari.

Check out this exclusive teaser of Test Drive Ferrari. Coming March 2012 to PC, XBOX 360 & PS3. Keep in mind this trailer shows an older work in progress version of the game and does in no way represent the final games quality.

Enjoy some of Ferrari's greatest moments from the past 60 years with over 50 vehicles including classic and modern Street, GT and Formula 1 cars. Drive on the greatest circuits around the glode including Spa-Francorchamps, Nürburging Nordschleife as well as Ferrari's very own Fiorano Test Track.

It is new to me :) I hope the driving model will be any good. I looks to me from the video that there is way too much drifting.

Lol, yesterday I was wondering what's the occasion for the Dino pics. First one is the mother of Dino, Laura Ferrari.

On that Ferrari game, car content is great, but they seem to be floating

Very well done F2008, it was indeed Laura Ferrari, Dino's mum and wife of Enzo. The car was the experimental Ferrari "Spazzaneve". A time when creativity was not stifled by a mountain of regulations.

    8 Days to go....

Can anyone give me who this person is and the two cars (first car is too easy, but I love the pic, thanks to Pistola over at the Tifosiland Lounge for the pic)...

That's the 312 T4 driven by Gilles and Jody and designed by Mauro Forghieri. Fantastic picture!

Last pic must be the famous Ferrari 312 T8 that never really existed as the picture was a hoax by Ferrari. The T6 did exist but never used in a race as far as I know.

    Spot on F2008. Very impressive!

    7 days to go....

Mauro's record was super impressive, not just the championships won with his designs, but his genuine creativity. So many things we praise current designers for are recycled ideas that have been improved. Mauro could do that, but he was also creative even beyond what others could see. He really was the father of the modern gearboxes (paddle shift) which was a very creative idea.

OK, so for the person and car I have them on one picture this time (sorry about the quality), but I hope you enjoy...

Apparently Slightly Mad Studios are making the game.... they made Shift 2 which IMHO had terrible physics. Hope they make a better job of this.

    Short answer yes.

In the late 80's Enzo was fighting with the FiA over engine regs and commission a CART car which was duly built. The FiA caved and we pulled the plug on the project. It never raced but I think I read somewhere that they used it to test Alfa engines.... not sure on that.

    6 days to go....

yesterdays pic if anyone was interested was Enzo Ferrari in 1919 driving the Construzioni Meccaniche Nazionali (CMN) at the Poggio di' Berceta Hillclimb. He came 11th overall and 4th in class.

One pic again for today, this guy also holds an F1 record - although he'd probably prefer not to have it

    Just a reminder 4 those who are bored..today, 3:00, Daytona 24 hours...5 458's entered against 9000 911's, 6000 Mazda's, 450 BMW's and about 4,000,000 Chevy's.
Gonna be a hell of a race !!!

That's Chris Amon, the best driver to never win an F1/GP championship points race. Mario Andretti once said of Amon, "He's so unlucky that if he became an undertaker people would stop dying".

    5 days to go .....

Spot on Red. Great comment on him being so unlucky not to win a race. In fact, the dubious record I referred to him holding is that he is the F1 driver that has led the most laps in F1 without ever winning.

A fairly easy one, for today. He is one of only 3 driver to have retired over 100 times. The other 2 are De Cesaris and Patrese.

Great shot of the factory....Enzo built the Indycar as a threat to the fia that Ferrari would leave F1, so Ive read.
1st pic I saw appeared in Road&Track a long time ago in a galaxy far far away.

And Risi Ferrari is unlapped and running 4th in GT at Daytona..go baby!!
