That diffuser doesn't look right, guess they are not showing the actual diffuser yet?

Seems they went from elephant ear sidepod to stretching it horizontally.

There is a new element under the nose - I don't know what it is but it has a plank in the middle of the car.

Here are two pics that show this as good as I can find them. What do you think of it?

Where's the exhaust anyway. Is that thing on the side to the right of the vodafone the exhaust? looks like its aiming for the diffuse or somewhere near the floor edge

yeah, apparently thats the temporary exhaust. we will see the real one, come Jerez.

about the little minifloor underneath the nose, i dont know. maybe scarbs will pick up on it?

i know, as that was how i felt last year

still, it will be fast though.

but surely those exhausts are a little too low for the rules, no?
I think that is because they have raised the back-end of the car, notice the rake of the car in the picture taken from the side. Hence the exhausts will be pointed towards the diffuser which creates the blown diffuser effect.

But are the height of the exhausts deemed to be a certain distance above the ground or above the bottom of the car?

Didnt Lewis said on his speech they havent reached the last year car's downforce level after ebd ban.I expect their basic car is open to improve. Not so much changes, nothing special to me but i liked the rear side of the car and front brake.Exhaust exits seems very low to me.Maybe they wanted to hide some innovations, upgrading the car part by part

This is the old wing so it could be a replacement for cameras or snow plough with the tray behind. As for the whole car by lower AA section the nose doesn't have that "bump" on it. The exhaust could be only for presentation (they could replace it). The rear suspension is mouted to the crash structure. The side pods are not L anymore but narrower with have undercut. I think they will change some parts and this was just presentation model.

They have this element on their car for a long time.

Edit: but it seems now it is refined
Edit (2): here is a link to mp4-26 at the start of last year: http://x-o.blog.cz/1102/predstaveni-mclaren-mp4-26 . You can see this element, it is for better air flow direction.

Just don't forget that they will hide somethings in their launch and have a basic package in their cover just like we will do in Friday ( ) we still can't know for sure what's going on,but really nothing very impressive.

Anyway, McLaren proved that with new regulations car does not need to look UGLY as Caterham! Nose is looking really nice to me. Hoping our car will feature simillar nose.

It's a launch picture, just like this years launch picture.

Only difference with the 'rubbish' one and the one that worked was the octopus box which you can't see anyway.

Just noticed the demo car didn't have any diffuser fitted. Are they hiding something in the floor/diffuser section?

    The future is RED
