Autosports: Alonso seems to get five or six good laps out of a set of softs before the pace drops away, but Grosjean's hold up a little longer.
Hope its all down to heavier fuel load....![]()

But Vettel pitted after nine laps.I mean we dont know fuel loads...

Ferrari's drop-off doesn't look promising...
No Risk, No Fun!
Grosjean is also better with softs...it seems that car eats tires faster than RB or Lotus...let us hope we had much more fuel in tank...
im praying that all those times are on used set of tyres..![]()

15:23 Now Alonso gives the mediums a try.
AMUS:
We want to make the Ferrari fans have no fear, but the tires seem to be formally dissolved. Alonso is the third time in the pits. The third stint lasted twelve rounds in which the times of 1:28.1 passed down to 1:31.5 min. Grosjean did not exceeded during this period the 1:30 mark. Now Alonso is on the move medium.
15:23 Now Alonso gives the mediums a try.
15:22 The Ferrari did 12 laps, starting in 1m28s, but progressing up to 1m32s as it got slower and slower.
15:21 Alonso finally gives up on that set of softs and pits.
15:20 Andrew gets respect for the sheer volume of puns squeezed into his F1 food suggestion: "F1 haute cuisine has to be Jackie Stew-art, for which chef Ducarouge and Ken Tyrrell as Matra D nearly got 4 Michelins in 1969 (a Goodyear)"
15:18 As the fuel load comes down, Grosjean hits 1m27s on hard tyres.
15:17 As Alonso's pace goes up to 1m30s, Grosjean barges past him on the main straight.
15:15 Alonso seems to get five or six good laps out of a set of softs before the pace drops away, but Grosjean's hold up a little longer.
I know that it's way too early to say anything about where we are, but hearing how everyone (including people from our team) are pointing out that we got a lot of things to get working, the updates that we're putting on in the next few days will mean A LOT. If we don't get the car runing how it should in the next few days, it's testing over and hello Melbourne. And we're gonna be starting the season with a not fully understood car which will cost us quite much. Really REALLY hope the new updates will give us the boost we need...
Sorry for the non optimistic post![]()
If the Lotus will be faster than us, I think I'll skip this season. Just saying...
EDIT: This is just... incredible (Grosjean):

Mclaren have been awfully silent ever since their new update ,that would give them a second came about.wonder wats happening there..![]()
Our car devours any kind of tires, after 10 laps or so time goes almost 2 sec off.... not good at all, it shows how much we're lacking rear downforce...
Alonso Completes the 100 mark for the first time!!!!!!!!!
Somethin To Cheer about..

1.5 seconds drop after just 4 laps

105 1:25.219 +0.68

15:55 Stint one was 11 laps on soft tyres, mostly in mid-1m30s, with a few 1m31s.
Stint two was 13 laps on softs, almost all in mid 1m29s before a few mid 1m30s at the end.
Stint three was 10 laps on softs, mostly in low 1m28s, with a handful of mid 1m29s at the end.
Then he finished up with 25 laps on hards, mainly in mid 1m27s, before eventually trailing off to mid/high 1m28s.
15:52 While we ponder that, let's go through Grosjean's eye-catching race simulation.
according to joseluisef1
-They have made some aerodynamic changes and have gotten worse (tyre degradation)
can't wait to see the first race weekend this year, the guessing game is getting crazy and confusing.
i do not want to get my hopes up too soon and i really don't want to write off this year either.
although, it is amusing to see how people can get carried away by this or that article/tweet/whatever...
Life might be hard, Concrete is a lot harder
according to joseluisf1 they're testing some unspecified things and they need long runs in order to collect data...
Two days in a row that Ferrari are putting some very good mileage on the race car! They are trying all kinds of things and they are learning much more about the race car! This is a very possitive situation. Good to see them try different things to eat the tires up because that tells me they are test the limits of the car in setup and that is what testing is all about. Prod & Poke the limits and find what works best!
ciao!
Forza Ferrari!
meanwhile enjoy in our Goddess :)

Maybe this explains our slower pace on the race simulation today:
Ferrari droves used Tyres
Lotus drove new Tyres
Source: Autosprint, F1today
Hard to tell with the angle of the shot, but the camber looks more... if it is then that would certainly contribute to tyre wear... might just be camera angle though.
Also, if that shot is from the race sim, then he certainly isn't starting on fresh rubber.
