That ok. Pitot tubes are on cars all year. The thing that is differen is data transsmition. At tests there is no network set by fom up arround the track so they need to use amplifiers in transmitter (black tube on top)to send data from telemetry in real time tback to pits (usually other teams load it when cars go by the pits on the start/finish line). Pitot tube is just that small metal extension on top of it

    THIS.

Autosport makes it sound like we are the only one with Pitot tube on our car, but more team are running with them...Mclaren for example...
So no need to worries about us collecting data, after all the more data you have the better...

if you run a WHOIS on autosport.com you can see it's a Haymarket group website, based in London UK, but the technical side is in the US...
But I would say it's a UK website...

Webber is the first driver to dip below 1:24s with a 1:23.993s lap on soft rubber. Massa, meanwhile, has just pitted; it's noticeable already that Ferrari are completing plenty of running today

    Scuderia Ferrari:
We're doing some changes in the car configurations so this is why Felipe is not running at the moment. His best time so far is 1.24.318.

    from another user:
"Gills on the side pods and mirror mounts have changed (shorter and more angular).
From the top view it seems like the exhausts have been moved slightly inwards as well."
