Thumbs up What can we expect in China and Spain

Ferrari planning to bring in upgrades to China and Spain.. Already making ground to the top after qualifying in the top 10 in the Malaysian grand prix.. what can we expect from the pransing horse for the next round? Spain calls even more upgrades...

I suspect we will refine our interim exhausts, and make usual improvements to the diffuser, floor, suspension layout etc.

As you said, the big update will come after the Mugello test, when we will either have the acer ducts working properly, or a Mclaren/Sauber style exhaust.

If the Spain update does work, then i would hope for rain in China (it's rained there in 2010, 2009, 2007 and 2006) and would not mind seeing Bahrain cancelled.

We can expect what Alonso said after the race..nothing has changed and the team is united in
getting the car up to speed as the season progresses. Myself I would like to see everything put on the car today

The most important things Malaysia gave us were time and a badly needed boost for morale.

I doubt any major performance improvements come China, sadly. On a track quite similar to Sepang, we may probably struggle with the sectors 1 and 2. I'm hopeful the upgrades get both cars into Q3; anything can happen from there on. Rain is welcome but it's always a lottery when it comes no? Realistically for me the goal will be both cars getting modest points.

we looked so competitive in wet/damp track in sepang.. I wonder if our exhaust which are closer to the rear tyres is heating up the rears perfectly in cold wet conditions..
Mclaren, mercedes, sauber and RB exhaust are much further away from the tires.. Im no engineer but maybe just maybe..
Why else would we be very fast if not "fastest" in wet conditions..

Maybe before, but not now the exhaust is pointed at the beam wing
In wet conditions it's more about the driver and set up.

I hope we see a better interim exhaust before they fix the launch spec exhaust... More like Sauber has, and yes I know the acer ducts are exit holes for the radiator too, but Sauber who is running the exact same radiator config (standing straight up, instead of inclined) don't have the "acer" ducts..
