:( Ferrari: An off track from Fernando hampered morning's session. At least two hours to repair the damages. It is a shame but that's testing!

Lap record at Mugello Circuit is 1.18.704 set in F2004 by Rubens Barrichello. F2004 was 2.3 seconds faster than Vettel's RB8 at Bahrain GP. Rough estimate tells me 1.21.000 should be a decent time, although target should be 1.20.700

Thanks, not high speed then I would imagine for a F1 car, wonder where he went off, corner entrance, mid corner or exit.

Again, lap times mean nothing today, BUT, generally speaking, if we can get ahead of Lotus, I'll be happy

Probably dipped a wheel on the grass which pulled him out. Not much run off I imagine. :)

Gary Anderson suspects the off was not @alo_oficial's fault - suspects something sent him off. Car back being repaired. Front wing damage

Could it be that those bulges/lumps on the Fin houses the tubes for the Mercedes-Like DRS-Duct?

I don't think so. Those bumps have been there since winter testing, before we knew about Merc DRS

There's a tube coming out of the Engine Cover towards the beam wing :

The floor and top body mouldings appear to new and quite large sections. This also suggests that the bodywork is going to change. Often with interim bodywork the panels are smaller to allow different shaped sections to be added. However the black heat shield panel around the exhaust is removable and may allow a switch to a McLaren style open-topped duct exit. The continued presence of the vortex generator near the mirrors suggests some downwash effect is still being created, although the current spec is not really making use of it.
Wonder if we might see a modified version of the exhaust by Barcelona.
