Davidson, Ted Kravitz and the whole lot always directing snidy comments toward the Ferrari team, it's becoming tiresome but I have no alternate means of watching Formula 1 unfortunately.
The only guy on that team who gives Ferrari a little bit of credit, and that goes for Alonso too is Martin Brundle.

Come guys we are looking up and the updates are understood by the team at least... In Mugello the new parts worked as expected that means we finally know how the car is behaving at least .....

One wonders how Davidson was an ex F1 driver. According to him, tyre degredation is not significant at Barcelona.

And it gets on my reserve nerve. Davidson is always taking shots at the Ferrari's every chance he gets. It's getting old.
If the current gain is 0.4-0.6 seconds, can we at least expect to make another leap in performance of similar grandeur in the next few races where Ferrari will bring further increments to improve performance? Or will they be slight tweaks?

Domenicalli said there will be another significant upgrade for Montreal next month.

Too late I presume if these updates don't guide us to the right direction.

Nice, good to know we have a development plan. Barcelona's updates need to work before the next batch of updates can get the go ahead.

    SECTOR TIMES FOR FP1

Ferrari fastest in sector 3 where traction is imperative.

In Sector 2 Alonso only .002 slower than Kobayashi's best time. What stands your smiley for?

I think that smiley stands out for the frustration with ferrari's well known tractions issues.

And isn't that a good thing? That's what the upgrades are for and if the traction was improved, it's great! Why the smiley?

    Thumbs up

Guys, I have a good feeling. 3rd sector (hi speed corners) is what we were bad at, and now we are the best there. No smileys, just confidence.

    Based on the flow-vis colour
it seemed alonso dad the new diffuser, rear wing and floor.
    massa had new front wing..
that could explain the time diff..
and ferrari''s updates should be working..they worked in mugello atleast..
lets see what happens in FP2.

If massa had all the upgrades and alonso running conventional system. how come alonso has flow viz all over his car and massa not??? I think massa was on a different programme to alonso and FP2 and 3 will give us a better indication where we are. i don't think we are the fastest!!!

I don't expect us to be the fastest either. Red Bull looks to be the strongest here. Red Bull have been improving, and now they seems to have found their pace.

But if we can be right up there with Red Bull and McLaren, that would be an improvement. Remember that we are like the 5th or 6th fastest team in the first 4 races.

Well I used the smiley to express confusion. Ferrari were thought to be really bad in traction areas and now they are the best. Of course I'm happy but maybe i didn't use the right smiley lol

No, sector 3 has slow speed corners where traction is important. On the other hand, Sector 1 has has speed corners.
