Calm down, maybe he was a bit too harsh. But it's true, Maldonado still lapping faster than Fernando by 0.2s each lap. Not really destroyed, just enough to keep Fernando away and take home his first win.

It was ment compared to the last stint. Alonso was about tenths slower per lap, which was manageable, but last few laps it was almost 1 second difference.

I think we're playing the longer game here, if we can maintain this gap there's no way Pastor can carry this pace for the rest of the race. We've got a two lap advantage on tyres already and we've already seen the difference fresh tyres can make.

Well he was just talking about Fernando's outlap, which is rather slow too.

Maldonado did two purple sectors on his outlap, but Fernando only maintained his pace on the outlap.

i rather be close at the end with better tires than maldonado, than ahead being pushed with worse tires. lets see how to unfolds at the end.

even with 2nd place this is would be an excellent result.

this season everybody is so close and the tires are such a big part of the race. its not surprising.
