Maldonado taking a leaf out of Ramilton's book![]()
Can FA make one of his great starts here? The first corner is just 140m from the start, too short for FA to overtake...
If it was on the soft give VET this 3rd champoinship now.. haha
We are looking great here, no doubt! Both cars!
Would be great to see a Ferrari 1-2 finish... but I shouldn't get ahead of myself yet![]()
The car looks good. Pat Fry & the team have done a wonderful job improving the F2012. I mean seriously. I think pole is possible for either driver! Yes I said either driver. :D
There's still the lingering thought about 2011 when the 150 Italia was super quick in FP3 and then nowhere in Quali. I hope that isn't the case again today. One lap pace looks really good. Race pace looks even better. Both drivers set their fast laps well into a longer run whereas some of the others only set their fastest in the first couple of laps. It looks like the F2012 is a contender for the podium tomorrow. Forza Ragazzi!!!!!!
wow Felipe![]()
I dont see any improvement except a fine car setup from Ferrari. Ferrari said no new parts for Monaco (aero is not a crucial factor here) except the specific components for this race. I also dont believe that Red Bulls and Macheaters are struggling.... all 4 + 2 (williams-sauber) teams are very close for the pole. I ll wait for clean qualify laps and then judge...
martin brundle-the greatest commitment i've seen through tabac today has been by felipe massa!
feel like massa has finally got his mojo back!cant wait for qualifying!seems he's finally got rid of some of that pressure....really hope he scores a podium tomorrow!
Will Buxton said the same thing. Then you have the er Gary Anderson who said both drivers are on the limit and won't have much more to give in qualifying. He also mentions that the car is all over the place. He then goes on to say how amazing Button looks. (Of course, as a McLaren driver, he'd NEVER be on the limit would he.)
He just doesn't like Ferrari period. Gets on my last nerve. Likewise while Sky did give the F2012 some credit today, they were just as easily critical of it too.
i think otherwise.....ferrari seem to have a few new small bits on the car...why else would they have used aero vis paint on thursday...??
anthony davidson-button makes it looks so smooth n as if he isnt pushing ,and still shows good speed...
guess anthony needs to watch a replay of the spanish gp to refresh his memory...
i personally hate his commentating.....he tries to sound like he knows exactly whats going on with each car!
I think Ferrari have changed their setup from yesterday to today, they were actually pretty decent in sector 3 yesterday.
As for Maldonado, what an idiot, seriously ban him or he will ruin the race
Ferrari i believe have a chance to qualify on pole, i say this because Alonso and Massa did long runs on the supersoft and kept on improving which proved they had quite a bit of fuel on board compared to the likes of Grosjean and Button. It's looking good but I'll be happy with a second row start if it comes down to it. Not everyone has shown their hand yet, especially McLaren.

It's great to see Felipe being quick, but why here? why now?![]()
okay guys, lets move this conversation to the qualifying thread! COME ON MASSA!!!
Yes he has had a good FP session but i think he should be judged after the race just like all other drivers, because that is where it counts.
I just hope he has a good qualifying and gets into Q3 followed by a good race and some solid points. Hopefully we pick up some valuable constructors points this weekend.

Any penalty for Maldonado? when he raced in the Renault world series he was banned from this track for life for ignoring yellow flags and running over a marshall breaking his back, his father bought him out of the ban!
Forza Ferrari
