For me I think the biggest challenge for Massa and Alonso is simply that, its Monaco track. Any other track I would say Alonso and Massa would easily make up places at the start as we've seen. But here at Monaco, there's very little room, unless a driver have a bad start.
But not counting bad starts and assuming everyone starts normally, it will be a challenge to make up places I think.
Wait, is Shumi P5 or P6?![]()
well massa starts from the clean side, i swear schumi starts P6 and alonso P5, look at the ferrari website!!!

Silently, like a shadow
I don't think there is room for predictions in Monaco.
Everything can happen.
We have seen everything there and don't forget how easy is to have the safety car on the track.
My opinion is that we need Mrs. Luck to be with us tomorrow (we have the rest : good car+good drivers).
Also Fernando has always been good on Sundays in Monaco.
Q: (Kate Walker - Girl Racer) We've had some particularly variable weather over the last three days and we were expecting a wet qualifying session; are you expecting or afraid of a wet race or do you think it's going to stay dry?
MS: I'm expecting, at my pit stop, that it will start raining.
NR: Local knowledge hasn't really helped the last few days. It's been very unusual, that's not the normal weather here, that in the morning we have sunshine and then in the afternoon everything goes dark. It's very strange.
MW: I just do whatever Jenson does!![]()

Forza Melanie C!
Pat Fry, Ferrari (Technical Director):
“I don't think we could have done better in terms of performance. As I said yesterday, we have got closer to the quickest but not to the extent that we can fight for pole position. We still have work to do to close the gap. However, it's very positive to have finally managed to get both our drivers into Q3. Tomorrow, it will be very important to interpret the race strategy as well as possible because the number of variables in play is greater than usual, given that there is not enough data on tyre behaviour. I think we could witness quite a variety of strategies and we must do a good job of reacting to any eventuality: the Safety Car often plays a role at this track. On top of that, there is always a question mark as to the weather: at the moment it is not forecast to rain, but you never know what can happen here!”
I like how this guy think..
Both MS & FA have respect & experience needed at Monaco. I am not too worried about the first corner
