"I don't want to be treated as special because I'm not. I just drive a racing car round in circles a bit faster than everyone else." Michael Schumacher
I believe Alonso and Massa can do much better than in Monaco, as they are starting even higher up the grid this time.
Anyway, for the championship, I hope Alonso still finish ahead of our rivals at the end of the race. It will be hard, with Vettel looking strong and Louis in between. But who knows.![]()
Clearly the undercut wont work here, who ever stays out for those extra 2 laps will make up big ground.. cant wait for this Race
This the first race of the season where I genuinely can hope for a Ferrari win. Alonso did it in Silverstone 2011 to mark tribute to Ferrari's first ever win 60 years back & I will be ecstatic if he does it again to pay tribute to a legend in Sir Gilles Villeneuve
Going to be a long day of nerves waiting for this. All I ask for is a clean race and that we get around the first corner with our cars intact.
Just looked at the Sky coverage in the UK and it is from 5.30pm to 10.15pm - any rain delays and there could be a few sleepy people in work tomorrow![]()
Forza Jules
One big problem, Italy play Spain at the same time as the race!!!!!!!!!! What will Italians do, what gets watched live, what gets recorded OR do you have two TV's or picture in picture to watch both? If Spain take the lead when Alonso comes in will the pit crew tell him to change his own tyres![]()
Football starts 2 hours before race, so will be finished before we get racing![]()
Forza Ferrari
Dare I say on a Ferrari forum the football will take priority, more emotion runs through a game of football than a F1 race, unless they play like they did against New Zealand which means I will not even watch the recorded game!!!! I am still angry about how lethargic the team was in that World Cup and the amount of young new players they left out the squad!!!!!

Race start is 7pm
Forza Ferrari
back to f1 lol....how much of a disadvatage is it starting on the dirty side of the grid for massa...i dont think its too much here
Both drivers in the podium, it's that possible?, I'm a little scared of the start but forza Ferrari and let's hope the finger boy is not miles away after the 1 lap, like he usually do.![]()
Kimi did manage to stay close to Vettel and mount a challenge at one point at that race where Vettel won. So I don't think Red Bull will just run off into the sunset.
Of course overtaking is another different matter. We saw how difficult it is in the Alonso vs Mal race.
http://www.jamesallenonf1.com/2012/0...prix/#commentsCritically, both Ferraris, the Mercedes and Red Bull cars all got through into Q3 using only one set of the super soft tyres. Button had used all three sets of his – he flat spotted one set and lost them – and was vulnerable to a last minute attack from Maldonado, but the Venezuelan hit the wall in the final corner and that allowed Button to go through in the top ten.
On the football, thanks guys, I thought the Ireland Croatia game was on at 5.
I love football, but watching the F1. These 'big' matches rarely deliver, will be a borefest!
F1 for me.
In Stefano Domenicali, we have a team boss who has proved to be a leader. - Luca diMontezemelo
Podium for Alonso is fine. The main thing is we are about level to the top teams on pace now with 13 races to go and with getting great points at the start this seems the best year since 2008 (hopefully a 2007 outcome)

Get yer'self to a slowish corner @ #f1montreal Listen to the #redbull cars.If that ain't off-throttle blowing I'll eat my hat...
WHAT THE HELL?
It has to be said although everyone said it was better to handle the holes in their floors/ wheel hubs without controversey it opens up the possibility of using illegal solutions having them removed then adding different illegal solutions the next race and on and on. They could win until the end of the year with the fia always one race behind them. Give them an inch they will take a mile. Should have something in place for repeat offences ie if parts are removed 3 times in a year you miss a race.
I have a bad feeling about today... Hopefully it's only because the weather we are having over here.
Forza!![]()
IF YOU CAN DREAM IT, YOU CAN DO IT - ENZO FERRARI
really worried about the start...especially for massa, fast starting cars around him! :s
I am worried that Alonso can not overtake Ham at start and loose time behind him and then can not attach Vet for win.
