Could have had 1st (if we went with the softs) and 3rd (if we reacted to everyone around us pitting for faster tires). Oh well, good result anyways

^ This. Still a good points haul. And good to see Massa up front.

2nd and 4th....I would take before the race.
Meanwhile, it either says something or just nothing that Alonso, Schumacher and Raikkonen have reputedly spared a F1 podium on five occasions and Fernando has stood on the top step on every occasion. He's F1's first among equals. (PG)

strategy wasn't bad, pirelli's weren't bad cause alonso was faster than vettel and not to mention lewis and kimi, but webber and red bull were very fast in last stint.
    great race by ferrari.
    great race for our boys

too much negativity here. alonso leaves the race in the lead. felipe has his best finish. we gain on every other driver but webber. mclaren have a terrible day. we show much better pace versus nearly everyone and competitive with red bull.

    ... and still people complain.

Yes, car has the pace, it's just down to what tires they have on.

    Here comes the usual overreaction....

When is the hard ever quicker than the soft compound? We weren't to know with the lack of dry running.

It's a good result for the Championship, we've gapped Vettel and Lewis again. Red Bull won't want Webber winning it.

Looking at Massa's pace, I think that running the primes initially was an unnecessary gamble considering we started from pole, however, we're still leading the WDC and i'll take a 2nd any day. Congratulations on Massa, fantastic race by him fending off Raikonnen
Mark Webber: "If you push to try and pass you kill the tyres but if you wait, then you find you're on the same strategy and finish behind them anyway".

we ONLY lost out to Webber. Its for SURE that Vettel will take points away from Webber at many more races. In the long championship its a great result.

Alonso's tyre strategy would have worked in his favor had it rained. Jeez, some fans are hard to please, despite the fact we have improved leaps and bounds since the first race of the season, where we were fighting for 5th place.

we extended our lead over Vettel which i still see as the main competitor from Red Bull, the amount of drama queens in here is staggering

More importantly the pace of vettel from valencia was not repeated here which is promising for the rest of the season.

What's the point if yo start on the harder compound then you pretty much stop on the same lap as your opponents?

Dumbest strategy so far by Ferrari and Alonso since Abu Dhabi 2010.

I must admit I'm disappointed, was hoping for a win. Didn't expect the soft tires to gave up so quickly. I mean, Alonso wasn't even pushing them. What gives?

of course Alonso is not pleased in the moment but this is a good result. The car is on pace with more and more improvements coming.

Again. Webbers disadvantage is that Vettel will take points off of him. Alonso is in the clear in that regard.

Are you kidding? Alonso not pushing? That is not possible.

He was just smart in not defending to a degree of risk.

I have to say that we had a very good race, still leading the WDC (exrtend our gap to Hamster and Heidi - Webber not a serious contender), we are 2nd in the WCC and the most important MASSA is HERE.

I don't understand the first stint strategy actually. We started Alonso on hard but pitted the same time as those on soft?

What advantage do we gain by doing that.
