40 points in lead, not bad....
Meanwhile, it either says something or just nothing that Alonso, Schumacher and Raikkonen have reputedly spared a F1 podium on five occasions and Fernando has stood on the top step on every occasion. He's F1's first among equals. (PG)

Ferrari not lost any positions in standings, so damage limitation was achieved, but Ferrari have a lot of work to do.
    Come on Spa update.

Ferrari knows how important development is and you can bet Alonso is pushing the team. We are behind but I'm confident of the team.

Where on earth did SF lose their speed? FA tried his hardest and Felipe...amounted to little.

What speed? Car is not good enough yet as they keep telling. Plus this track was always going to highlight it.

hope it was the tack that contributed to the lack of pace..

Good damage limitation. We beat one McLaren and one Bull.

    Sucks for the WCC points
    we're number one

I mean compared to last weekend. It looked almost as if there was not a spirit to fight even. 5 weeks to Spa, hopefully it'll come to good use.

Are you serious? I thought Ferrari would be 1 point ahead?

Best damage limitation the team and Fernando could do here, with Webber finishing 3 places behind. But there is definitely work to do, undoubtedly.

Some of the comments on here during the race were shocking, very negative and not supportive of the team. We have picked up very valuable points for the championship - its a good result from us. Yes we are off the pace massively but no doubt we will have upgrades for spa - wish a lot of u on here believed in our team. How motivating would it be for the pit crew, the drivers etc to log on to this site and see some of the comments on here.

    Exactly. Well said.

It's not 2004, Ferrari don't get their own tyres, or permission to pound round Fiorano everyday.
