    @ Suzie,

This was much more the Massa of old! He did a fine job today and this is the jobe Ferrari want him to do. Very good points for the team. Alonso has to start to out qualify the McLarens if he is to win the Championship. Good to see the Red Bull cars have some trouble today. Perez drove a very solid well deserved 2nd place finish race. This is what I was talking about as far as future drivers. There is a bit more fire in his belly and he is driving very well to get good results. Massa must keep raising his game and gain big points for the team at every race. Today was a very good haul of points for the Ferrari Team. They need every race to be like this! I think Alonso had the car to win today but 3rd is not so bad. Consistency is the name of the game!!!

    Ciao.

    Forza Ferrari!!!!

Felipe drove okay today but still - with the fastest car on the grid he ended up 4th having started 3rd. Perez was so much better today - so much that even though Flippy ended up that high his performance was pretty much moot.

Are you just going to post after every race to slag Felipe?

No point in coming here is there.

    Scuderia Ferrari equals Felipe then?

Felipe is detrimental to Ferrari's WCC hopes despite today's quite OK performance. I am absolutely allowed to like the Scuderia and still not rate Felipe high at all. Deal with it.

Why are those mutually exclusive? I absolutely adore the fact that there are teams with heritage and traditionand noone symbolizes that better than SF. I also rate Fernando very high despite the fact that him coming to Maranello destroyed my dream team.

Great drive from Massa. Constantly being there with the Maccas...

Looking at SPA and MONZA, I think Felipe is fine.

    Singapore is a street and driver confidence track, if Felipe can produce the same results as in SPA and MONZA;

I am saying Ferrari will certainly keep him for the 2013...

We had 27 points today, Macca 20, Renault 10 and RB 0.

So its a run run eh....

Thanks, Felipe for bringing hope 12 solid points today

Perez went from 12th to 2nd so he was better than Nando as well.

    Very much agree.

Four or five like these and I say we are up there for the WCC.

Its a good thing Maccas are taking points off RBs.

46 pts from WCC... Forza Ferrari

Both Ferrari drivers performed like Ferrari drivers today.
If they keep doing that I don't see any reason for Ferrari to replace one of them.
And no, it would not be as easy as some think to replace Felipe for somebody who would do better at this moment.

Felipe did a superb job this weekend! Hope he keeps this form.

I think Redbull will be very strong in Singapore due to the design of their car (in high downforce settings) and Mclaren may not be as strong.

“The F2012 is not a winning car,
We don't expect him to win every race but we expect him to be close or within distance of his team mate and on occasion beat him. Its a poor excuse being 129 points distant from Alonso, its the same car. Correct me if I am wrong but none of Schumachers team mates at Ferrari had a gap like that to him when he was driving Ferrari's that ranged from not the fastest that season to absolutely another level of F1. We would not have won as many WCC if team mates had those stats. I like you Massa, but to keep your seat you need to perform like you did at Monza every remaining race.

Flippy? Please,we are all free to think our own ways but names/words should be accurately and not disdainfully used
or people might get the wrong (or right?) impression. Not cool.................

Felipe a good race today - but was it enough to save his seat? He started 3rd on the grid, ended up 4th and was very close to being taken over by RAI and MSC at the end of the race as tyres were completely shot. I'm going to bite my tongue and wait for Singapore and possibly even Japan and Korea before making my decision.

By the way, it might have been foretelling that it was Perez that passed him...

He finished 4th, RIGHT BEHIND HIS TEAMMATE AFTER HE WAS TOLD, "LOOK AFTER YOUR TIRES"! How is that not good enough??? This thread should be locked too since it seems like it's becoming the new "Massa Performance Thread".

in that case all threads will eventually have to be locked as they will all turn to Massa sucks thread ....... 4th in Monza.........could be a podium only for helping FA .......... what a loser.

You have got to be fair and consider 2 things: 1) We had to get Alonso 3rd and 2) Perez would have passed Ayrton Senna in an MP4/4 at the rate he was going.
