So far so good, Mal has dropped from the top group, so now it's the top drivers in both practices, so far:
Vet, But, Alo, Web, & Ham
3 of these drivers should be on the podium.

Because maybe they want to run them back to back and compare on track?

It seems tyre degradation is huge here, even Ferrari is not happy with it...could be good actually cos Maccas must have even bigger problems then...

HAM and RAI apparently setting excellent times on the longer runs, according to AUTOSPORT...and one thing's for sure,Fry and Co. will certainly have to stay up all night to make this dog of a car workable. ALO shouldnt qualify any lower than P5 though, and he was doing better than WEB overall..and im relieved not be a Merc addict,as they've been pathetic throughout both sessions. So much for their legendary coanda exhaust....

Macca's tyre deg has reduced exponentially after their introduction of new brake ducts in Hungary...they suffered a lot less than Ferrari at Monza....

To Vettel, "So far the options are starting to show degradation in other cars as well"

    RBR deg problems aswell.

I'm no expert but the first time I saw the f2012 I thought it looked like a pig.
Sadly I think I was right and no matter what they stick on it she's never gonna be anything but a pig. Just have to work with what we have

@modeni : And that would hand victory to HAM,im sure...and i think the MP4-27 has been more consistently good...though the 1.48.340 was amazing by VET,i doubt whether HAM would have come close even without the last corner error....

My conclusion for today: P4-6 are manageable for Alonso and Q3 for Massa cos our upgrades are not enough/dont work...RBs and Maccas are untouchable in Qualifying and in the race we will see...biggest disappointments till now Mercedes, Sauber, Renault...

Agree with modeni's predictions...and this is more worrying because its evident that our sim-track correlation is still very poor....

I still think that a few setup improvements can yield some time for ALO....sadly,though,it wont be enough to enable them to fight for pole or the win....

correlation problems are evident maybe they are not that bad as last year but still they havent managed to salvage all the damage from it... if their confidence was so high prior to Friday it could be really related with sim data that arent showing up on the track yet...

How strong exactly were ALO's long runs compared to those of the Macca and RB drivers??? RAI looked to be quite strong too....

I'm not worried just wet. We've seing a lot of times that we don't see the true pace on FP.Remember at Spa button in all FPs was behind, and complaining about balance, and then on Q he was flying! So lets wait for tomorow.

i'm really tired of this....!i cant understand why a huge team like ferrari cant get better updates and actually get the car right at the front, when mclaren seem to able to do it every year...even last year mclaren were finally able to catch up with the rb7 ,which was a beast of a car.....its been so long since we've seen a ferrari dominate.....its getting really frustrating now , hearing stefano talk about bringing updates to the next race time and time again and then failing to deliver....!
