Also, in the 6 races left you may have the lottery of rain which up to now has been good to us. Also, we are in the best shape regarding engine and gearbox, the Mclaren are in poor shape, with engine and gearbox especially LH and is likely to run out of both, therefore, will take a grid penalty towards the end of the season. We also have the most reliable car. So, cheer up Ferrari fans be positive - Good night.
That is an interesting point. You think that after collecting some good data at the test and in Singapore, they can make the necessary adjustments to the parts for Japan?
    Looking forward to it.

Seema abit tight 3 weeksbetween end of ydt and fp1 in Japan but if already had designs and data allowed mods that could make them work but 3 weeks to change analyse and build seems tight. however Japan is mpre like barcelona and silverstone so should be better even if car is similar.

No limits and no penalty either as the car did not finish the race.

The car has come a long way as Singapoure is all about traction zones the worst part of this years car so not bad. All tracks left should be much better apart from abu dhabi which always seems to go bad and hamilton and vettel are always quick there.

What you are saying is "we have to improve the car". The problem is now with 3/4 of the season gone, we are being promissed the same time and time again by team management and we are still a clear No.3 at best. And this is due to FA super driving ability. For a true picture of our car (and efforts) look where Massa is.

No longer care about anything Massa does wrong, that was the best pass I have seen in years, just brilliant.

If i can watch him doing that more often I don't care where he finishes just resign him.

Please switch to attack mode. For the sake of winning the WDC with FA. He need at least one, but I think two will be enough wins to secure WDC.
Ferrari please give the man right tool to fight.
I think he would have beaten MAL anyway, his pace towards the end of his first stint with respect to MAL's was quite good, and he even tried a passing move once. But yes, there was no way they could have beaten HAM yesterday, had it not been for his gearbox failure...

I read some of these posts...no one but Ferrari know better whats going on than Ferrari...the decisions in the
heat of battle, the cars and how the track, weather, tires etc effect performance, the drivers fighting it out at the
limits against a whole lot of drivers whose job is to beat everyone, every lap, and especially to beat Ferrari. We can all say this, n that, but in the reality of the situations,
it is Ferrari who have to know, have to react, have to make decisions. Doing all these things as a team is hard..doing all of these things with the
    Prancing Horse on your car?
Race teams have to please their sponsors and "some" fans...Ferrari, on the other hand, have to please the world.

    Amen to that.

I'm sick of relying on other drivers/teams misfortunes to gain places/points .... all I want is a car that mostly dominates and everybody plays catch up to us!

Was this actually true or wrong information? I've not heard anything about it anywhere else. (I still think it was just a racing incident)

My rant over.... Was a great race for the team in terms of damage limitation. Massas drive (especially the freaky car control vs senna) was superb. Fernando as usual milked the most out of this cow. Hopefully suzuka will suit our car better and we can get right up there.
If Vettel and Lewis have another DNF each, we should be ok the way we are going. If not, we better get some serious upgrades by suzuka or we are looking at 2010 all over again.
Glad somebody agrees with me! I think it's the worst GP of the year - no atmosphere, no character, no history, no romance! Might as well have a race around a floodlit ASDA/ Tesco car park......bah!

On the updates Stefano said it's important to focus on the right areas, and not just scatter gun approach and they simply can't do everything as some on here thing, and that they hope to bring good updates for Suzuka.

Christian Horner said: "The championship is wide open. It's just annoying Fernando keeps popping up on the podium at the end of the grand prix.

Can't wait to see the look on their faces when Fernando wins the Championship..

Seeing how Senna escaped from the incident, I wonder if the FIA was actually investigating Massa for dangerous overtaking than Senna squeezing Massa out!

"It's hard for anyone [to catch Alonso] except Seb at the moment," Button said. "It's between those two but there's still a lot of people with a long shot. That's what we're all going to go for."
Button isn't rating Lewis very high

Hopefully Horner will be bloody annoyed in all the remaining races.

Hopefully. I tweeted to the team what he said and asked them to please annoy him to no end.

Alonso's aim right has to be the same it was in 2010, keep on finishing on the podium. Hopefully Hamilton is unable to win all the races to come and Alonso is able to finish above Vettel a couple of times the championship should be his.
My only worry is Button, he can throw a spanner in the works!

i personally think taht to be on the safe side, WE NEED to win at least another race or two maybe (i know i'm greedy now), but this is the reality and then more podiums to be able to clinch the WDC

all i know and i bet Fernando knows too, that it's going to be a tough 6 races coming

BTW, I am reading all the posts now and I have to laugh when I see somments like "SC, Another chance for Vettel's alternator to conk out!" You know guys, the SC periods were actually helping Vettel and his alternator. Even RedBull mechanics admited (after Valencia GP) that if there was not SC, Vettel would stopped earlier.
Renault said that their alternator is overheating at low revs in previous races, but they already did something to rectify the problem. Safety car= low revs.....

I am sorry. I copy paste it from twitter believing it was true. But it was mis-information.

I believe it was mis-information regarding the Senna penalty. Apologies for passing that on to you.
