EL_NANDO has just come back from the Singapore Grand Prix, great result for Fernando with Hamilton going out. I was sat in the Padang grandstand during the race, just before the Singapore sling corner.

I was shocked to see the way some of the Brit's behaved towards Alonso, it was borderline embarrassing (and I am a Brit). They all booed Alonso on the drivers parade and jeered when he came onto the big screen. I noticed Red Bull and Ferrari fans applauded all drivers and everyone applauded Lewis on his lap back to the pits when he got pole, credit where credit is due.

So when Lewis retired I think the Ferrari/Red Bull fans decided to even the scores and we all gave an ironic standing ovation and waved Lewis back to the garage, the looks on the McLaren fan's faces was worth the price of admission alone! LOL some of them even immediately left the stands.

Fernando looking very good for the title now. FORZA FERRARI! FORZA FERNANDO!

That behaviour was most probably only payback for Monza where Lulu got booed and british fans complained endlessly about italian 'racists'. It still bit them in the rear end lol

Yeah fair point about Monza, I thought the podium booing was over the top also. I wonder if the Brit's booing Alonso realise he is the last driver to win the drivers title whilst actually living in the Britain. Anyway words cannot describe how sweet it was winding up the McLaren fanboys when Lewis retired, all decked out in their $500 of official Lewis/McLaren merchandise trying to look like part of the team. Me content with my 2009 Alonso/Renault shirt I got for $5

Thanks for sharing the video. Massa was so far behind, he then had to come in for new tyres, he did well to end the race in 8th position.Without the incident on the 1st lap he could of ended the race in 4th. Massa maybe something special at Suzuka.

well massa also had SC for help, but that's how it goes, sometimes you're lucky, sometimes not. i hardly doubt he would have ended up in 4th hadn't he had puncture and SC's, maybe 6-th or 7-th
