    Idea Abu Dhabi stats

Last year's race had Vet as a dnf, but otherwise very similar to last week's race in India, where the final results look like the starting grid, including Alo advancing from 5th to 2nd, just like in India.

With 3 years of prior races, it's a very predictable race, with 2/3 of the podium starting in the first 3 grid positions.

    2011:
Grid: Vet, Ham, But, Web, Alo, Mas
Final: Ham, Alo, But, Web, Mas, Ros

    2010:
Grid: Vet, Ham, Alo, But, Web, Mas
Final: Vet, Ham, But, Ros, Kub, Pet, Alo

    In 2011 and 2010:
Vet, Web, Ham, But, Alo, & Mas dominated Practice 1, Practice 2, Practice 3, Qualifying, and Final results.

So, expect Grid position to be very important, but the race will probably be a "procession".

Thanks for posting that. It's always interesting to see the stats from previous years. Appreciate it.

This is the most important of the last 3 races.

We should be good if Fernando can qualify in the top 2, and prevent Vettel from controlling the race.

As we saw last year a notoriously difficult circuit to over take on. Even with the DRS system in play.

Anyone know where the DRS will be activated this year ?

This circuit will be very hard to overtake.

Qualy would be very important and also pit strategy if we are to under cut opponents if we have race pace.

KERS will prove to be very useful as well. Not sure if Webber fixed his in 6 short days

Stats don't mean squat. Too many variable but the one constant is that Seb's RB will be the car to beat.
