So, FP1 is over...don't really know what to think
Hopefully things will get better in FP2, but the sad part is that the Red Cows seem to be toying with everybody else again.
They seem to have so much extra speed in reserve all the time. Really frustrating.

But, this was just FP1 and hopefully things will get only better for us from here on.

Yes, hopefully things should get better.....the FW still seems to be the problem....i think they managed to improve the RW....whatever was the problem...it sure has given us boost of about 2-tenths....but still maybe they didn't test all the parts....looking 4wd to FP2!

BBC F1 technical analyst Gary Anderson
"Ferrari have two different rear wings here and they're back-to-backing that. But they've just done a straight-line test so they really should know which is best. I call that wasting time at a race meeting. They also have two different front wings here. Now, they're a bit more tricky to be sure about."
What a loads of crap... straight line test doesn't confirm everything, might give an indication but nothing more... the way the car behave when going round a corner cannot be identified from straight line testing! This guy keeps on barking like a chiwawa. :)

We are good to win If We qualify in the top 4. And very very good chance of leading most parts of the race if Alonso gets P2 on Saturday. Looks like Alonso knows the circuit better than Sebastian Vettel.
4 down, 3 to go! Forza Sebastian!

On a funny side note, the commentators at Sky sports thought that the Italian navy flag on our cars was a Mexican flag...geesh! LOL

Simply there was no Redbull exhaust in Korea and i am sure this year there will be no visible change in this area.

Just saw results... Hmmm.. What to think...? +0.425 would be OK for the FP1 at first 5 races in the year. Now when we are in a last four races in the season, this +0.425 is big as a Chinese wall. Yes, it is just a FP1, and all teams are on different programs for testing, but still...
Let's wait and see what Ferrari will do in FP2.

Any chance that the finger boy simply had a quali set-up on his car when he clocked the fastest time???

    Please say YES

If this lap was done with a race set-up then it's going to be difficult for us.

Probably similar to others. They are just faster.

The signs are not exactly very encouraging. based on the results of the FP1. But it's waaaay too soon to make any decisive conclusions just yet. The best indicator of our real speed will be quali session tomorrow. These free practice sessions don't tell the whole story.

We can do it! If anyone can, then it's Ferrari. I'm still feeling pretty confident about our chances this weekend. Cheer up guys! Let's wait and see what happens in FP2 and hope for the best.

I can't sneeze in 0.4 seconds. The point I'm making is that everyone will be on different programmes, just like every other free practice session, and just a slight difference in a programme accounts for a time difference. 0.4 seconds at this point in a grand prix weekend means nothing at all, which is good. Take some positives, we're testing new parts and the car looked good.

Time difference is not a problem for me, as long as FA is capable to qualify in the 1st row tomorrow. From there he has equal chances for victory.

The car looked more planted in FP1. Much better than Japan or Korea, where the car looked nervous.

They are simply doing a better job than anyone else whether you like it or not...they have improved the car a lot in the last 3 races and have come here with further upgrades..so dont be surprised if they are further ahead.

Even if Ferrari are testing new parts so are others..and looking at the onboard it didn't seem that our car was handling as smoothly as it should..

For me,it looked the opposite..Alonso seemed to be fighting the car to generate the laptime but hoping that they improve it come FP2..

    No need to panic YET

FP3 is where we find out who has got what and working.

Right about that. But usually you can see straight from FP1 how that GP weekend will be...

we say that every time: wait till FP3 or qualy..but then it happens the same or even worse...so we must say RB is quicker than us, its just the question if we could shorten time difference...everything in +0.3 or less is fine with me...and in qualy we must reach at least P3...and other thing that is very important and that we will see now in FP2 is of course heavy fuel load runs...
