Forza Ferrari
Well I sure hope it's not true.
Because if something like that really did go down in Ferrari pits, then that would be very devastating to our WDC winning chances. The last thing that is needed right now is to have animosity between Alonso and the rest of the team. We need everyone in the team to be working in harmony, no good can come out of some silly argument.
Much ado about nothing, it seems.
Don't play dumb with me. I'm better at it than you are.
What, u think people get along every day? Especially in this super tense situation?
They can argue all they want, as long as it motivates them....
plus, I think Alonso should drive faster!![]()
Which is exactly the reason why media keeps making fairy tales like these. They would just say of course Ferrari will deny it, so you can't prove it wrong. To me, there's no reason to believe in things that cannot be proven wrong but isn't proven right either.
The more important question we should ask is how these people can know what's going on in a team that, had it occur, would only be between a few top people. Most of these rumors are just made up to attract readers and its very rare these people have actual information. Of course they are sometimes educated guess and they just keep repeating it in hopes of being true, like Vettel's rumor. 2014, no Vettel deny it, so 2015 etc
That's the advantage of a rumor ... if you say, nothing people continue to speculate in every direction they want. If you deny it ... you'll always find someone who says: of course they do.
Funny that - even the twitter message hasn't been sent - someone knows the exact wording. And in it's length it's much more a SMS like a twitter message. In terms of a twitter message this would have been Alonsos "Lord of the Rings"
If this would have happened really even the walls of Ferrari's motorhome would not have been thick enough that this would not been noticed by any other person of the pit lane. And I think everyone of the Ferrari crew members would have been looking like the RedBull Guys after Webber took pole in South Korea. But it plays with the history where it's been told that Alonso but Ron Dennis under pressure for No.1 status in 2007.
... on the other hand: if it's true, Fry found the right way to make the car fly ;)
Forza Ferrari ...
There are much better ways to motivate a team than starting an argument. I don't know if this spat really took place or not, but if it did, then that was definitely a very bad move from Alonso. Ferrari is Alonso's employer, and everyone knows that it would be crazy to start a fight with your employer. The employee will always lose. I can understand Alonso's frustration, I would be frustrated too if I saw my WDC slip away again, but taking your frustration out on the team is NOT a smart move. Nothing can be gained from this. They're a TEAM and they should always stick together in good and in bad times
I don't know if this story is true, and I personally think it's not, but if it is then there's a good old saying that I would like to say to Alonso: "Don't bite the hand that feeds you."
I'm sure it's not true; I imagine his door-kicking (or was it a bin?) days are over![]()

"This time the destabilization has come from Italy"
Is optimistic about their options in Abu Dhabi: "I have reason for believing that I will be closer to the Red Bulls in qualifying on Saturday"
MARCO CANSECO. ABU DHABI 01/11/12 - 13:50.
Fernando Alonso stepped out of the controversy with Pat Fry, technical director of Ferrari, in the Grand Prix of India and has said he always fought for the F1 World "press has tried to destabilize other countries" but in this destabilization time "has come from Italy."
"There's an Italian gentleman who should be out there that inspired rose. Normally when you are in the fight for the title, the press of trying to destabilize other countries. But this time the destabilization has come from Italy," said the Spanish driver to the press.
"Sooner or later I will talk to him to see how he invented this. Know we are slower than Red Bull, we all agree, I, the team, the fans, everybody knows. Working to fix this situation" said.
On the performance of his Ferrari in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix to be held this weekend at the Yas Marina circuit, Alonso was upbeat: "I have reason for believing that I will be closer to the Red Bulls in the Saturday's qualifying.
"We did a very good race here last year. True Vettel retired but very strong just behind Hamilton (grand prize winner)," said the Spaniard.
Alonso believes the Abu Dhabi route is best suited to the characteristics of the F2012 in the two circuits past: "Our car is better suited here than racing India and Korea and we have some improvement so I think we can be closer. " Still, Alonso was cautious: "Thursdays tend to be more optimistic."
"We believe and trust in the team and the work we do. We have shown that we never give up and we know how to fight to the end. When things become difficult and stressful, we give one hundred percent and have much experience fighting for world championships, "said Fernando in Abu Dhabi.
"This season has been ups and downs and we have now seen four 'high' consecutive Red Bull, so we thought that sooner or later has to come a 'low'"
The Ferrari driver still relies on a failure of Red Bull and Sebastian Vettel: "We have some improvements here and there will be some more in the U.S.. This season has been ups and downs and we have now seen four 'high' consecutive Red Bull, so Sooner or later we have to come a 'low'. "
Alonso said that they were prepared for the race in Abu Dhabi "better than ever" and that even with the improvements that will test not close the gap to the Red Bull, the will put "under pressure" after four races very easy for them. "We want to be close enough to capitalize on anything they do not do well, while we have to be perfect all three racing weekends," he said.

CAVALLINO RAMPANTE PER SEMPRE
i can understand why fernando is so frustrated, but it's been a very unpredictable season since the begin, look how many race winners we've had so far, it's alot down to small details.
IMHO the only thing i wish he would stop saying is talking about newey the way he does, it doesn't feel like he is just trying to take credit away from vettel on a mind game, but it might be frustrating for the team to hear it over and over again.
it's one thing to not get the result you want, to feel frustrated about it, but at the end of the day at least fernando goes to bed knowing he isn't lacking performance, so i think it might be worse for Fry and the engineers who gets frustrated not only because they aren't winning but also because they know they are underperforming.
i think Nando has praised Newey alot this season, so everyone knows how he feels about it, at this point though i don't think saying that will make the engineers work harder to try and beat newey, i think they are already doing that.
he knows he has alot of power inside the team, it's no surprise, but for now i think it's best that comments like these stops.
by the way, did pat fry work with alonso in 2007? could there be a little bit of frustration or degradation due to that?
Forza nando! you are doing an amazing job, there is no doubt whos the best driver today.
The art isn't in never falling but in always getting up.
