This is Ferrari last train for WDC. After this Sunday if FA does not shrink SV lead, preferably take the lead

, than in remaining two races will be beyond difficult.
I won't be able to follow FP today, but I hope when I check result later on that I'll be in a good mood.

"Ferrari have a new front wing assembly here. They have gone to a six-element front wing, rather than the five there were before. If you count them all up it's 31 elements producing downforce. The idea is to get more consistency in the downforce. I'm not sure it will produce more downforce but it will be more consistent. I also think the concept of the endplate is a little critical - they are not doing what the other teams are doing, which is turning more air around the tyre. I think that comes from the problems they are having with their wind tunnel. It is too narrow, and turning more air around the front tyre effectively makes the car wider, which will be difficult to understand if the wind tunnel is too narrow."

They were saying earlier that the temperatures on the track at this time of day are very much hotter than they will be at Race time.

So not a lot of good information to be had during this session.

We're just doing aero testing with high fuel and the same set of tires. The track temperature is far from quali/race and we're acting smart. Don't take anything from this session.

How many times have I heard let's wait till qualifying it's early days yet .... to be honest I can't see any great improvement happening .... to coin a phrase in relation to the car ' you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear'
