yes of course, renault the most unreliable engine that need special care at every corner.
That's a whole load of bull, they cannot allow just one engine to use it just because they claim it affects their reliability. Its their own damn fault they make their engine that way. Either ban it completely or let everyone use it.
Worst excuses to explain underperformance:
"We don't suit this track",
"This track doesn't suit us
"We're going to focus on the next race"
"We are focusing on next year's car".
Come on! Why not simply admitting that "They (whoever 'they' are) are doing a better job"?.
Admitting the reality doesn't make you a "loser", just a pragmatist. And when you're Ferrari everybody knows that you'll be back where you belong: the top.
Sure, not winning is hard when you're Ferrari, but everybody understands that nobody, not even Maranello, can sit permanently on the pinnacle.
We win, we loose tomorrow, we will still be Ferrari.
Addio Signor Enzo. Ciao Gilles.
That could explain what Newey has been exploiting lately. And if that has been an advantage over other engines then the FIA need to act. However any action they take will be too late.in twitter..."Ferrari & Mercedes are not allowed to use this special system & have asked for permission already. FIA said no. via FabioC BlogF1.it"
PROTEST NOW!!!!
Its all in the name - FERRARI
BAck to reality....
Problem is the FIA always makes exception when Horner goes to them with a bambi eye and a case of reliability.
Just like last year, the engine mapping was almost banned in Silverstone, then Mercedes was allowed to some blowing because of reliability. Upon hearing this, Renault and Horner went straight to the FIA claiming the same thing, they need to do some blowing because of reliability problem. That created the whole mess and in the end the engine mapping was only banned for Silverstone.
The FIA needs to stop this and say, if you have reliability problem, that's your own damn fault. How can we make exception each time Renault go to them and claim they need to break a rule because of reliability, and they get their way. That's very unfair.![]()
