Jenson was saying there is virtually no rubber anywhere on the grid and it wont make the huge difference everyone thinks it will. He was the only one to attempt a start on the clean side. I'm surprised they would do this without having attempted a start from the clean side. :-/

Its more than that IMO. Starting on the clean side is significantly more important due to all the dust off line, and Ferrari isn't alone in worrying about starting on the dirty side.

We're up against one of the most ruthless team in F1. Eventually we'll have to fight fire with fire. Such is the nature of competition.

#F1 Had it confirmed: Ferrari broke seal on @Felipe1Massa's gearbox so a penalty should result!

Maybe it is. On the other hand, watching RB cheating their way to the titles somehow has changed my mind about what Ferrari should do or not do.

I understand why they doing it (done it) but, pointless, just take your original starting spot and get on with it like everyone else.

But, Felipe will now be on clean side aswell, and both ours boys can get good starts.

massa can try a very late pit stop with hard compound (maybe 40 laps). If every one is going for 1 pit stop, maybe this is the only option we can consider.

Can Felipe change his tyres now or is he stuck on the current old ones?

I agree. Things like this doesn't give me a good feeling, but Red Bull have been pushing the limits ruthlessly in the past couple of years. At the end of the day, the rules allow Red Bull to do the things they do, so we can't blame them. Instead, we have to set our foot down and say if you are going to play rough, I would too. That's how it has to be.

Will they really care? be as well just telling him to go out and ram Vettel as it seems we will do anything to help Fernando.

Unfortunate for Massa but the championship is more important than ethics.

Besides Red Bull have 3 drivers on track working to help Vettel and hinder Alonso.

Indeed, I can't hide that I'm disappointed really after he's been doing good all weekend and that will probably be forgotten now. :-/

True, but everything is only wrong when Ferrari does it, obviously.

Well Ferrari has to do what they r doing changing Massa's box..the wdc is the goal, no matter
how we feel about it. RB, Mac, they would all do the same thing.
If Massa starts from pitlane, they will be able to setup his car, and put
whatever tires on they want. FA has won from lower positions on the grid b4,
so really, they have to do it....

    I am embarrassed for them.
What's the point calling for Felipe to qualify higher when this happens when he does.

'Oh but he's on the clean side now'. Aye, 5 places lower. Big whoop.

Desperate times call for desperate measures... It's sad, but with current form of Bulls and form of our's we have to fight with everything we got. Even when it's not totaly adequate.

Blame it on Grosjean, none of this, would've happened if HIS gearbox didn't break in the first place

The only story on it I can find just says Ferrari might change his gearbox.

They are having a laugh aren't they ?....just watch RB change Webber's box now and Fernando is back on the dirty side and no gain for any Ferrari...

How is this different from the time Ferrari told Rubens to hand over his place to Schumi although Schumi had a clear lead in the WDC?

Ferrari have done this before, its nothing new.

Sad to see people turning their back on the team for something we've been doing a long time ago.

    Nods.

Sporting isn't anywhere near of this decision, they are almost saying that they aren't interested maintaining the 2nd place in WCC. Is this team Fernando and not Ferrari? Beating the opposition no matter the odds, that is Ferrari!
