As an ex member of this forum I have been observing the events in this forum for a long time. And as I saw how a member called Tifoso84 got banned yesterday just because he dared to step up to Greig and tell him off, I remembered exactly how I got banned from this forum for very similar reasons. This forum is nothing but a sham where Greig is the dictator and every member has to follow his rules, if they don't want to get banned.

There are only two possible ways to survive in this forum: 1. Keep quiet and just observe what Greig says without saying anything back 2. Agree with absolutely everything that King Greig says and praise him for his "brilliant" opinions. And if you dare to cross him once then he will provoke you and keep provoking you until you snap and say something to him that would be sufficient enough of a reason to ban you.

Make no mistake about it, there is only ONE opinion in this forum that counts and that's Greig's opinion. If you dare to tell him that he's wrong, he will attack you and ridicule you. Hundreds of perfectly good and behaving members have been banned from this forum just because they chose to speak up and didn't want to be Greig's -kissers. And those other moderators are nothing but Greig's henchmen who will do anything that Greig tells them to do, because Greig's the boss here and they're afraid to get banned.

This forum should be renamed into "Dictator Greig's forum", at least then it would be clear for everybody how things are run in here.

So dear members if you wish to stay on this forum for a prolonged amount of time, then I suggest you just ignore Greig completely or agree with him on absolutely everything because these are the only options to survive in this forum. I'm actually relieved that I'm not part of this pathetic sham anymore.

Greig is an egocentric moron with no regard to other people's feelings or views and I'm sure that there are a lot of people who think the same way.

I actually admitted to Greig yesterday that I didn't necessarily agree with everything he says, so I sincerely hope I'm not going to be barred! Everyone is entitled to their opinion and the forums are there to discuss things without being insulting and rude, no matter how frustrated we can all be at times. So let's be thankful that we have TSN, some comments are a bit OTT but we do need a sense of humour as well, plus not taking things too seriously. This is a sport and we are tifosi, feelings run high and therefore we become emotional and passionate, that's why we're here and should keep it that way. Good behaviour is obviously the order of the day! And quite right too.

Look everyone:

Greig and mods only ban when there is an infraction worthy of banning. Having a differing opinion is not such an infraction. It's the tone. This place is about respect.

1. No slagging the team (including the drivers)

2. No flaming anyone here

It really is as simple as that. Incidentally, users who on the surface agree with Greig or me or any of the mods have been banned. It was all about their lack of respect. Again, as simple as that.


An aside: I've known Greig for almost 10 years. He is one of the most decent, kind and caring people that I know. I, for one, am grateful for his friendship.

Actually this is one of the more respectable forum I've came across. Many other forums tend to degrade down to personal attack, insults and name calling that the thread gets lock and it spoils the discussion for the rest. I'm glad those are not tolerated here.

I agree that we're all passionate fans and we all have different way of seeing things so we tend to disagree. However there's really no reason for personal attacks on forum. That's something we should maintain here. Watching a race is sometimes stressful enough, no need to have more stress and anger here.

Well said, i just recently became a member, and one of my first comments here was to start a discussion with Rob, who i thought was ridiculing a bit, an article written by a good friend of mine, who has an Italian F1 technical analysis site.
The way that discussion went, fierce, but always with mutual respect, made me realise i was in the right place, your words are spot on!
