its great having had felipe up there with fernando these last few races. if he had carried this form through at the start of the season we could have pushed red bull to the end in the constructors too. however, all the real die hard F1 fans in the world like ourselves will agree that vettel deserved his third title, so well done to him... but all these fans will agree that alonso just deserved it more. what alonso achieved this year was nothing short of amazing

THank you Ferrari. There is only one, can be, only one and will never ever be another like The Prancing Horse..Scuderia Ferrari.
Congratulations to the drivers, pitcrew, engineers, designers, team manager, LDM, and all those who work at the Ferrari factory.
What would F1 be without Scuderia Ferrari. Ferrari IS Formula 1, and racing to all the world.
Also a big thanks with appreciation to all of the Ferrari Sportscar teams who won so many championships this year around the world.
The world can go thru many changes, but may there always be Scuderia Ferrari.

Il mio cuore č con la Ferrari. La mia squadra, il team di mondo, il Cavallino Rampante.

And he keeps on insisting he does'nt need to walk the track before a race.
Not even if it is a new track like Austin USA.
Luca was right after all,Kimi is a very fast driver but in certain ways he is too unprofessional.
Good race by Team Ferrari,Alonso and Felipe.[Reminded me of Schummy helping Eddie].

They got along from day one and the picture? If anyone understands Fernando's feelings it can only be Felipe....

He doesn't know how to loose, and for sure not how to win, like we say in Italy "lo stile no si compra sul mercato" "stile/class is not something you can buy at the market".
    +1

What an obnoxious crybaby. He wins it all because he has the best car and he still feels the need to say something like that? What a terrible winner.

Proud of Fernando, Felipe, Ferrari and the fans!

I'm sure a lot of people will lose sleeps over the next few days but we'll bounce back (I know I will ). They should give Seb another trophy called for 'the most undeserved WDC' three times in a row

Felipe getting his game together and producing some amazing drives in the later part of the seasons. Lets carry this momentum and make our own luck next season.

And yes, I want to congratulate Kimi too, for his very good comeback. He is still the old Iceman, he still gives me the feeling he is not taking it all too seriously, but he did great this year.
Today he made me laugh again when he took his detour and later by his comment on that, and it's not the first time...it's good to have such a character in F1.
I'm happy he will be there again next year.

Yes you are right Alonsomaniac. They are since the beginning of 2010 but i meant it's just so nice for me to see that they are actually real friends. Alonso will also compete in Massa's kartingrace in Brazil this year, which is also a nice gesture from Fernando in my opinion. It is just that there are a lot of teams out there how always trie to do as if there drivers are best friends, but here with us at Ferrari, Felipe and Fernando are friends!

I signed in to congratulate Vettel, then I saw these posts.

I'd expect this sort of crap from Marko and Horner, but not Vettel. I can't believe he would say these things, having just won the championship

Stewards confirm Vettel overtake move was legal

    http://www.crash.net/f1/news/186443/...was_legal.html

There will be no investigation or action taken regarding an overtaking move that triple world champion Sebastian Vettel made on Sauber's Kamui Kobayashi midway through the 2012 F1 Grand Prix of Brazil in Sao Paulo.

TV replays during the race appeared to show that Vettel made his move on Kobayashi through a section of the Interlagos track that was displaying yellow light on the electronic boards, suggesting that the Red Bull had accomplished the move under yellow flags forbidding overtaking.

If that had been the case, then Vettel could have faced a post-race penalty for infringing the rules, which could have seen him penalised by a 20 second penalty amounting to a drive-thru.

But Sky Sports F1 commentator Martin Brundle confirmed that he had spoken to one of this weekend' four FIA race stewards, Gary Connolly, and been assured that Vettel's move was completely legal and would not be subject to any sort of post-race investigation or a formal appeal by a rival team such as Ferrari.

"He has absolutely confirmed that they were red-and-yellow boards," Brundle said on the live broadcast. However, he added: "Didn't look much like that from the somewhat grainy and rainy yellow on-board footage, did it?"

The key appears to be that the yellow-looking lights were not flashing, which means that they were not the equivalent of the waved yellow flags requiring drivers to drop their speeds and back away from any overtaking during the demarcated sections of the track.

Immediately before the incident, other parts of the track had started to show the more conventional red-and-yellow striped flags being waved by marshalls, which informs the drivers of slippery and greasy track conditions but does not require the drivers to take any mandatory action as a result of being displayed.

The section of the track through which Vettel made his move for position on the Sauber was not accessible for marshalls to work at, and so their role had been taken by the electronic illuminated boards which showed as a block of steady yellow on the TV video replays.
Though a slim chance I was hoping he would get a drive-thru for this.Regardless of the flag situation, if Hulk got a drive through penalty for his incident with Hamilton, then Vettel deserved a stop go for his incident with Senna.

Bah. No way i will gratulate Vettel. My only gratulation goes to Newey and to the RB team for finding ways around the regulations once again, and being innovative as one can be. And they can take this with a pinch of salt too.

Just unlucky for nando. and very lucky escape from 1st lap thriller for vettel. great performance from massa too. by judging his recent form, the 2013 seat contract is fully deserve for him i think. this GP started looks to be a happy ending for nando. but a bitter sweet at the end. the weather is with us yesterday. just great and proud to be a tifosi for this team.

    sorry for my bad english

    Hahahah

His team failed to have enough fuel after his qualifying in Abu Dhabi, and they lied their way out of it until the stewards found that he did not have enough fuel. Not to mention the engine mapping and ride height changing in parc ferme fiasco. He must be looking at a mirror.

Forza Fernando! The whole world knows you are the real champ! We are very proud of you!

Forza Felipe! A great second half of the season, hopefully you can build on this so we challenge RB for the WCC next season!

Forza Ferrari! 2nd in the WDC and WCC with a car that started 1.5 secs off the pace is a remarkable achievement. Win or lose, we are forever Ferrari fans!

So what did Vettel mean when he talked about dirty tricks? Qualifying with not enough fuel to pass scrutineering? LOL what a sad 3 time chump you are!

What an amazing season we've had. And thanks to Fernando for keeping it alive till the very end.

He has been fortunate in some ways and very unfortunate in many ways. I believe he deserved the title, but cest la vie. I just hope this doesnt break him and that he keeps performing at this level every year. It took schumi 5 yrs to start winning.

Felipe!-- just amazing! If he drives like this, he will be neck and neck with Fernando next season.
And it was not just the drive... the team spirit. He was really giving it his all to keep fernando safe from webber and even did a magnificent defence-attack move that gave Fernando the jump on webber. Such an amazing team player.

Well.. lets hope we design a killer car for next year.
    cheers to that!

if I may.. here at Ferrari, they are family! :)

i do think that part of the emotions Felipe had when the race finished is for Fernando.. he knew too well the same predicament (2008) and he gave every support he can give to Fernando to have a go at the WDC until the last moment.. i can't see how Fernando could have done all this without Felipe's support.. very proud of them!
