Button: “I’d give Fernando a run for his money”

“There are many guys you’d want to challenge of being their team mate. I think with Fernando we all know how difficult he is as a team mate. He’s very fast, he’s very intelligent and for a lot of people that scares them.

“For me I’d really like to be Fernando’s team mate – but I’m not saying I want to go to Ferrari – I’m just saying that alongside Fernando would be very interesting, to see how the guy works. I think I’d give him a very good run for his money.

Would seriously love that to happen..Jenson would be surprised as to how much faster Nando is in a car..
We might also get to hear Alonso saying,"Button is not a Worry.."

    He's no better than Felipe....
Meanwhile, it either says something or just nothing that Alonso, Schumacher and Raikkonen have reputedly spared a F1 podium on five occasions and Fernando has stood on the top step on every occasion. He's F1's first among equals. (PG)

That's cute. I doubt he could give either Fernando or Felipe a run for their money. Still, I suppose it's better than "Alonso is not a worry".

    Disappointed Since 2010

Jenson is a bit to optimistic i guess. He would not even come close to Fernando and if he would be a teammate of Felipe he also would eat dust. Dream on Jenson but you will never race for our team.

He should try to give Perez a good run for his money though. Button needs refocus.

I don't mind JB, and I don't think he has it in for Fernando at all. You have to say that the guy has guts - nobody thought he would go to McLaren and we all expected him to get thrashed by Lewis. I don't think the fact that Jenson scored more points than Lewis during their time as teammates is representative of their respective talents, but he didn't disgrace himself that's for sure.

No one is a teammate as well as FM. FM is the man doing best for his role.
Look at VET/WEB, they hate each other.

Next season WCC is in our hands !

Button is one of the top race drivers, no doubt but Massa has returned to form and Button is not better than Massa at this time.

In my eyes, I see Massa much closer to Alonso than anyone. Massa is a slim #2 behind Alonso with only Hamilton, Vettel a close third and forth.

Massa has picked up his game a returned to his rightful place as one of the top 5 drivers in F1.

    Ciao,

    Forza Ferrari!!!!

Damm..it all comes down to our cars...
if FM is as good as Button then he needs the car and even he can be on the TOP STEP of podium...

Come on Ferrari..We are having the best drivers and in their top form....pllz FERRARI ..bring a genuinely FAST car!

We certainly have the best driver line-up. Felipe and Fernando are both bloody fast and are real good friends as well. If the car is right we will get that WCC and WDC next year.

Button should be more focus on his new team mate. Luca DM didn't even think Perez is ready for Ferrari yet, if Button gets beaten by Perez, he can stop dreaming about challenging Alonso.

When a race car driver is really good, they dont have to say things like that.

I wasn't joking- if there is a video, i can't see it, and i can see youtube videos so that shouldn't be a problem. No idea why then.

Now you mention it , neither can I. See anything that is.
Oh, no, here we go. After a very long wait when I get a rather troubling public service type film.
Then after another v.long wait Jenson puts in an appearance but it keeps stopping every few seconds or so which makes it hard to watch. I think I'm probably not ging to make it to the end....no I'm not.

Yes that's right. Button has nothing interesting to say in that interview so it's not a problem if you can't see the vid.
