The tight rear is on fire! "no,no, darling i'm on a Ferrari site, really!!"
Dr Ferdinand Porsche:" Nuvolari is the greatest driver of the past, the present, and the future".
Enzo Ferrari once drove with him and recalled even on bends "he never took his foot from the accelerator".

Fire is like water, it chooses easiest way to get out. It doesn't mean that fire is result of cooling issues!

I'm no engineer, but white smoke, doesn't that mean it's oil?
Although in Italy it could mean we have a new pope

It is a shame that because of this Ferrari is loosing valuable track time... But on the other hand it is better to learn of week spots now than come Australia.

Looking at that picture it seems that there are marks above the cockpit too.

News in from Gary Anderson - it was a gearbox problem that stopped the Ferrari. They're changing it so @PedrodelaRosa1 should be out later

It was said that Ferrari introduced a new gearbox design this year. So hopefully this will reveal any design problem and we can fix it.

If the gearbox stuck in first gear there will not be enough air flow in the sidepods and everything overheats=fire!

Guys!! I don't think that is due to over-heating. Because it was the first lap of the cold morning and that too it has gone a half lap distance and I don't think there is anything that overheats so quickly. Probably it should be oil leak which caught fire.

    Autosport:
There's a lot of debris just on the outside of one of the turns which needs dealing with, and at first glance it looks like the kerb at Turn 5 is breaking up.
There's a big hole about one foot over from the kerb (on the rumble strip effectively). This might not be a quick fix...
The issue is that any car travelling over it could pick up damage but could also damage the kerb and throw more debris onto the circuit.

So, everyone should wait till this is fixed and probably Ferrari will be ready by the time it is fixed.

Intersting picture of the Sauber, with the side pods that small, they have radiators that are (almost) not inclined, according to some Italian technical analysts, it the same position as the F138.

Any engineers among us? Seems a strange place were the bodywork is burned.

    just a bit off topic,,,,
bt why is the FIA a bunny of the cows???
yesterday interview with pettel and today detailed interview with horner???
are they the only team to be covered?

and as for jerez...really reliability was something that we could boast from the 2012 season but seeing the F138 in flames in a good sign,...hope ferrari will rectify the problem and be back on top in Barcelona....!!
