Maybe they let the car run out of fuel.

Although he had pretty "heavy long run" laps just before stopping...Maybe another stress test?

    3rd Winter test, Barcelona 2013

Fire extinguisher will be precautionary. He's done 60 odd laps in a row...the car will be very hot!

Strange that Massa stopped on the curb rather than on the extra road at the side. Wonder if something broken which suddenly stopped the car?

That's not where driver would stop if they can help it.

Was just gonna say how happy i was about Massa's number of laps... Judging by his body language it was not a fuel test.

Good thing they don't broadcast every test, for I wouldn't be able to do any work

Im sorry to say but don't think it was Fuel,

    Look at Massa's last laps:
    1:35.491 (109
    1:36.321 (110)
    1:37.969 (111)

It appeared he was losing power

    Massa's long runs look impressive!

I'll say this again but Ferrari are looking good! The situation is so different to last year's testing. We really are competitive this time!

He did? judging by where the engineers where looking, i go for a rear suspension problem
Dr Ferdinand Porsche:" Nuvolari is the greatest driver of the past, the present, and the future".
Enzo Ferrari once drove with him and recalled even on bends "he never took his foot from the accelerator".

Well, 112 laps - best of the day, just pipped by HAM - and no obvious major issues so pretty pleasing I'd say!

I'm just pleased that we seem to have built a basically good/ fast car and have avoided repeating the nightmare we had this time last year. Let's see what ALO does tomorrow - and how the rest of the test goes - but, roll on Australia
    Trying to be less angry..

    according to this:

    http://www.yourweather.co.uk/weather...a--1-1683.html

there is supposed to be more rain tomorrow, but sunny both sat and sunday
i just hope tomorrow will change a bit and be more dry then WET, we sure need all the DRY weather we can get to get ALL parts (hopefully LOTS of them) tested and assesed properly
So the SF-24 has been a decent car. Lets hope that the totally redesigned from the ground up SF-25 contender will be a beast that will give us tifosi something to smile about.

i think webber set his best time on the soft tire, while felipe set his on medium...also felipe concentrated more on LONG runs
he may of NOT used soft tire either...but dont' know for sure

Because he ran the slower tire, did race simulations till the very last lap and overal, didn't do no 2 or 4 lap runs like Webber did. Also, Felipe didn't get the chance to do a fast lap late when the track was getting better and better.
