I don't know if this has been posted already, but apparently Alonso told the Spanish TV that he never expected such serious damage after a small bump with Vettel, and that since he was leaving the other Ferrari behind he thought it was worth it to go for another lap before switching to slicks. I did not see the interview, but it was reported somewhere else.

Still thinking that finger boy and kimi will have a big lead coming out of this GP and RBR will be leading the championship by a big margin. *face palm*
All in a race where Ferrari should have been really strong.

    Ah luck suckssssss!

Having the feeling that the 2nd and 3rd was because of us being the last to cross the line, before that lap we were in the lower half of the top ten.

The only chance to get something more than 5th is to save the tires. We got an emty track infron, while the top 4 will be fighting in a few laps.

Thanks for the post, but if he did say that, its RUBBISH. His wing ground up the track for a quarter of the lap with sparks flying like the fourth of July, a team with a bank of experts on their laptops monitoring all the aspects of the car and nobody, not any of them had the balls to say, your making a bad call, get in the pit and risk slicks a lap early. Its split milk, but i was yelling a the TV when he went past the the pit entrance. Maybe they should get their head out the laptop and watch the race on SKY instead!!!!

And, I'm betting that, as a true professional, Alonso will take full responsibility for it!!

Mercedes, Red Bull and even McLaren (not sure about Lotus) faster than us in the race. Great preparation for the weekend.
