If we can't get Pole we will settle for 3rd.

Alonso didn't get his final lap together. However, clean side of the track and i think we have good pace on both types of tyres. We can still win tommorow.

Also Massa up to 4th after the grid penalties.

That makes it 14 races in a row with no pole.

But I think we have a great shot at another Alonso win and perhaps have both cars on the podium.

Hopefully Alonso can win from P3 tomorrow, he needs to close the gap up to Vettel in the WDC. I wonder if the Red Bull and Mercedes are harder on the tires.

What does that mean? He didn't flat spoted them or anything and did just one flyer on them as everyone else.

In sky they said that the tyres Fernando used in the first run of Q3 were those used in Q2... Lets hope they are wrong

MAS very very nice!! P4 is very good, and he's starting on hards, good for us, because we have split strategy, no issues, just hoping for good start from both, but not felipe trying to overtake fernando and than stuck with each other.. hoping to get Vettel on the start and then ROS very soon, like China with Lewis, would be good if first sint is the same for us like China, but than no issues with Felipe because he's on hards

I don't understand that. Alonso had two fresh mediums tires for Q3, so why would Ferrari use a used mediums for Q3 when we have 2 new ones

What sky says makes little sense considering the race will likely be a two stopper. No need to save tires.

drivers have to use same tires used in qualifying.
same compound. not the exact tire.
    the only thing is
does fernando have enough fresh mediums for the race trim?
    Hell would have broken loose

4 min: Alonso, on used rubber remember, ends up a tenth off Rosberg's benchmark in 1m32.667s.

Alonso will start on the tires he used to set his Q3 time, Used Mediums.
When they were used or how much they were used we don't know

Wrong. They have to use the exact tyre on which they made their fastest lap.

No, you have to start the race on same tyres on which fastest time was set, that were from Alonso's first run

First stint isn't really about saving tyres, just trying to vertake as much as possible and come in as soon as tyres start to drop off, hoping that you're not in traffic.. Don't count out RAI, but I hope that he doesn't score good points (championship) and that we can beat VET

No pole for us again but we have improved our qualy as Alonso stated.

If we have the same type of relative race pace we need to be the favorites for the win.
