Thats the perfect scenario, the bad one would be Vettel going past Rosberg and then our drivers get stuck behind Rosberg and Vettel can pull into the distance

I am looking forward to see if the RB is really faster than Ferrari during the race. That is what Fernando said after the last race and I did not believe him much.

Seb cannot do this- he is on the dirty side and RBs do not start
    Fast enough.

China showed he has substantial talent to win the race even after not leading into first corner, that's the point I made, no?

Thats what i thought too, but after i watched the GP2 start i realized that the "dirty side" is the better one because of the rubber laid down there

F1 drivers to be left without cockpit warning lights for Bahrain GP

Formula 1 drivers will once again be left without cockpit warning lights for the Bahrain Grand Prix, after issues with the FIA's electronic marshalling system continued at Sakhir this weekend.

For the first three races of the season, the FIA has had to switch off the telemetry aspect of its marshalling system because of concerns it was not bulletproof enough for use in an actual grand prix.

The telemetry system informs the drivers about warning flags, the use of a safety car, and also when DRS has been enabled or disabled.

The issues have come to light at the start of this season because the FIA switched to a new supplier.

Although FIA race director Charlie Whiting has said he is now happy with the marshalling lights and GPS aspects of the system, the telemetry issue remains significant enough for it to be turned off once again.

At the Chinese Grand Prix, a number of drivers were called to the stewards to explain why they had used DRS under yellow flag conditions.

In the end, the stewards elected to not hand out any penalties because of the mitigating circumstances caused by the telemetry issues, as DRS was not automatically disabled.

The FIA is working hard to ensure that the situation is improved in time for the start of the European season in Spain in three weeks' time.

In motorsport the dirty side (the one with more rubber) is called the clean side.

Last week on our TV (Nova) they spoke about Magnetti Marelli as old (good) supplier.... The new one I forgot, but I think it was some company from Germany (or Britain)....

Ferrari to remain unchanged in 2014?

Felipe Massa's return to form may have already secured the Brazilian another year in the Ferrari line-up in 2014.

Although results of fourth, fifth and sixth from the opening three grands prix have yet to deliver a podium, Massa has already qualified on the front row, in Malaysia, and headed team-mate Fernando Alonso in the standings prior to the Spaniard's victory in China last weekend. He remains fourth overall ahead of Sunday's Bahrain race.

Speculation that Massa will remain at Maranello was sparked by Ferrari team boss Stefano Domenicali suggesting that protégé Jules Bianchi could have a future with the Prancing Horse, but not before 2015 at the earliest.

Asked whether Ferrari was ready to take a chance on the 23-year old Frenchman, who has impressed on his three outings with Marussia this season, Domenicali told RMC Sport that he could see Bianchi being a target for bigger teams at the end of the year.

“I think he has a bright future in F1,” Domenicali said of the Ferrari Academy prospect, “I am very happy because Jules has done three perfect races and I hope he keeps going like that. I don't know about [him being a Ferrari driver] next year but, in the future, yes of course.”

Massa's current deal sees him through to the end of 2013, while Alonso is on a multi-year contract that many expect to see the Spaniard retire as a Ferrari driver.

    Good afternoon guys.

I think we are in a very good position for the race today. Hopefully we can get both cars on the podium. Would really like that for Felipe.

With "the rubber laid down" i meant the rubber laid down by the GP2 start it stays at the dirty side because its off the racing line

i think that reading out from that piece that Felipe already has contract is pretty wrong, it rather suggests that Jules is not ready after one season to drive with great car, let him improve his skills a little before and get more confidence before putting extreme pressure on him to win.

I'm expecting a 1-2 or a 1-3 under normal conditions. The start will be critical. Hope both of our boys play it fair at the start.

Agree. Or even better to put him in some mid field team for a season.

I think is Felipe keeps performing like he did so far this season he will stay which i hope.
And for Jules i think its better for him to replace Gutierrez at Sauber, who is not doing good job there, and collect some experience.
