My Heart really go to our Boys...bad luck and all but they showed that never say never attitude. Nando fought so hard and overtaking even without DRS...near to perfection drive though massively disadvantaged. As for Felipe, something might be wrong with his set-up or maybe it was the effect of that damaged front wing.Despite this not so Ferrari standard result, I still tip my hat off to our Boys. They did everything they could.
May this be the last of the bad luck for us. Happy days should be ahead for us...starting in 3 weeks time.
Forza Ferrari!
awful result
The horror! The horror! Thanks very much all for responses to my question on previous page.
Sounds like it was a good day to be out of contact with live race
Look forward to reading the team comments later.
I really want to know what happened to Massa's tyres.
Two punctures on the same right rear?
Or was the setup and Massa's driving so off that they simply destroy the right rear?
Let's forget this race. Chins up guys!!![]()
when we pitted Fernando the third time I was thinking, "this is ridiculous, just tape the damn thing closed"; then I turned off the "race" and went back to sleep.
now another 3 week break... didn't we just do that?
you can see this gap chart, and laptimes chart, 2nd stint didnt represent our pace, because he climbed from 16/17 all away from back. thats why me and the others believe that fernando can won if drs wasnt broken. he got his pace
1st pictureis gap chart, 2nd is laptime chart,

What a disaster!![]()
Cant believe the amount of bad luck that struck us once the race started. I thought we were in for a good shout for a 1-3 result.
Am just hoping our seasons bad luck is now over with and we can continue for the rest thrashing the finger boy and his kind.
Even heavily disadvantaged, Nando finished 8th. Truly commendable.
But this race hurt! These 3 weeks cant get over soon enough.
Silently, like a shadow
difficult to draw any conclusions, other than the old saying that to win WDCs u need reliability. vettle and kimi have that now and we dont

Im disgusted. We cant get get a flap to open and close properly, and lost massive points and that finger boy bitch wins again. Already 30 points behind, the season is almost over already the redbull will only get faster. An utter disaster. Im sick of this.

Alonso's DRS flap went above the stopper, and so got stopped in the open position.
Pirelli said Massa's tire was a puncture, not delamination
Pettel's run of luck is just unbelievable. When was the last time that little a-hole had some mechanical problem on his car or any bad luck at all? Even in last year's Brazilian GP he had a crash that certainly would've retired 9 drivers out of 10 but he still managed to keep going without any problems whatsoever. Disgusting! *smh*
The day that brat runs out of luck can't come soon enough.
KEEP CALM AND LOVE FERRARI
one more mechanical failure like this and finger win and the championship is over (be realistic)

Bahrain GP: Fernando Alonso sure his rivals' luck will turn
By Sam Tremayne Sunday, April 21st 2013, 14:46 GMT
Fernando AlonsoFernando Alonso is sure his Formula 1 title rivals will also have to deal with the kind of misfortunes that have blighted his start to the 2013 season.
The Spaniard's DRS flap jammed open in the early stages of the Bahrain Grand Prix, while he was in the hunt for the lead.
He was forced to make successive emergency stops before the problem was rectified, meaning that by lap nine he was 19th and no longer had the use of the DRS to make his way back through the field.
Despite that Alonso eventually came home eighth, although he had been running seventh, and on the tail of the fight for fifth, until the final lap.
Having also retired from the Malaysian Grand Prix when his damaged front wing collapsed, Alonso acknowledged that it had been a messy start to his season.
But he is sure his luck - and his opposition's - will turn around.
"We were very, unlucky," Alonso said.
"In four races we've had two very unlucky moments.
"But it will come for the others and in that moment we will take our opportunity."
Alonso, who has won and finished runner-up in his two clean races of 2013, said his DRS woes massively compromised his race.
"It was very difficult," he added.
"I stopped two times in two laps so was at the back of the group, with no DRS to pass.
"The race became very, very difficult."
Without that second DRS pit stop Alonso would be 21 seconds closer to Vettel.
He would be third !
so fernando able to did 3/4 laps with drs opens, well cars have great downforce, to be able being not passed by diresta for 3 laps.
i can feel how tricky and hard fernando took the corners with opened drs. AFAIK the downforce is gone when you entering the corner with opened drs
yes if i saw from laptimes analysis it could be third, but i think its too hard overtook mercedes, rbr and force india without drs .
Our pace was good. But DRS let us down. Sometimes crashing, sometimes wheel nut, Sometimes DRS and sometimes ... . We did what we could do to maximize points. That's it.![]()
Don't you think it's a little bit naive, after having closed the DRS manual, with force, to expect it will work just fine after that?
After the Malaysia front wing accident i thought it was good to see Ferrari was willing to take a risk, a sign of confidence, but this in my opinion was plain stupid.
