Vettel for pole IMO. Those bulls always put on a little fuel weight before Quali 3, and we never see where they really are until then. But, Ferrari looks monster in the first sector.

To be honest I don't care where we qualify....as long as we win the race

But yes, pole is possible for both of our drivers, but also for a lot of others. It's all so close that you just need the luck of an almost perfect lap at the right time.
    We'll see.

I'd agree, but if Fernando got pole in Bahrain, he wouldn't have needed to use DRS... Or Malaysia he wouldn't have needed to slow down for a slower than expected Vettel in the first corner.

It is important, and makes sure they don't get put in risky situations.

I imagine he would still have used DRS at some point no matter if started on pole

I know, i know, only joking, i don't think Red Bull has any advantage with the new tyre, the Red Bull performs best on the hard tyre and usually do their long race stints on it, now the tyre is more durable it's also slower. Red Bull would've benefitted if Pirelli made the soft and medium tyres harder, now their crying seems to have backfired on them.

In Q1 we will use one set of the hard compound then one set medium in Q2 and 2 sets of medium in Q3
we will start the race on Medium and the rest of the race will be on the hard compound with 2 stops

I guess so, but there is no denying not being on pole gives unnecessary risks like a Merc roadblock etc.

Damn it feels good to be so fast and competitive!!!
These new updates have certainly made our car a lot faster. We're looking really good for quali.

Oh and it was great to see Luca there.

According to Tania Bauer (Sky Germany) Fernado is a little bit distraced because of the incident with an Spanish photograph (two days ago). ... as he got reported to the police by this photograph ....

Nevertheless I think we look good ... maybe not fastest but better ...

Fernando is experienced enough to leave such things behind when he's in competition.

Could it be that the Lotus was quick in the end of the session beacause of the lower temps, and therefore more problems with warming up the tyres, like ROS, for a lot of drivers, and Lotus no problems with this?

I recently have figured out that RedBull are using McLaren alternator. Where are those lovely Renault alternators ???

    I'm just watching the re-run of the morning practise and .. Finnish TV commentator referred to Luca di Montezemolo as .. "team manager" ... o_O;
Team manager? He's the Chairman of Ferrari (and Fiat)..

Trying not to get too excited as q3 always falls short. could be 1-2 today but could be 5-6.

On another note why do Mclaren mechanics walk infront of the camera and stand there to cover the parts? rb started this but they are fast. Mclaren should let people see and copy if stupid enough then they can drag rivals DOWN to their level. they could slow down their soon to be rivals Caterham and Marrusia.

I am not sure what to think after FP3... As usual RB is hiding their true pace and speed. Ferrari is looking good which is promising.
Correct me if I am wrong but both cars in todays FP3 were without new extra wing across side pots?!?

Top 2 in all three practices and strong pace on both tyres...both Ferrari cars on podium very likely

Yes, Ted confirmed they were off and likely to make an occurrence at a later race after perhaps some more tweaking.
