The "Drama" that is playing out AGAIN in Formula One is Obscen and Absurd! Formula One is in Scambles and has No Credibility, AS ALL!!!! This "sport" is more like a "FIXED" Wrestling bout that we are all suppose to believe is real and not a cast of characters playing out their respective parts. Bernie and Company are working behind the scenes to ensure a "GOOD SHOW" of it! I am sick of too many years of permitting all the cheating No Accountability for who is "Allowed" to break the rules to "Spice things Up"!
I will not watch this sport any more! From McLaren's Scandal to Red Bull's Cheating for the past 4 years and now with Mercedes and this latest scandal!!!!!!!!!!! When does it end!!!!!????
This is a dispicable Sport!
I will NOT watch anymore because my stomach is sick from to unethical, disrespectful, cheating behavior! My only love is for my beloved Erica (My long legged "Grasshopper w/ Boobs") and the Ferrari Team that I love to watch WIN!!!!!!!!
Ciao,
Forza Ferrari!!!!
My Out Rage at what has been "Permitted" by the FIA to allow to happen is Just Outraglously Shocking and Incredible!!!!!!!!! Why wasn't the FIA at the Tests??? Why aren't the FIA at EVERY TEST????? The FIA were fully aware of what was happening and did nothing to monitor and enforce the RULES!!!!!!! The FIA cwerainly should have witnessed the Test and stop it IMMEDIATELY if the rules were being broken!!!!! Instead, they played Stupid AGAIN and only stepped in when the other teams found out!!!!!!! These FIA People have obviously NO BRAIN and do NOT seek enforce the Rules of this sport!!!!!! This is a big JOKE! We, the fans are the FOOLS for watching this sport and putting up with what the FIA are doing!!!!!!!!!!!
Ciao!
Forza Ferrari!!!!
Somehow I get the feeling that FrankAlfa is a bit miffed about all this.
Don't play dumb with me. I'm better at it than you are.
If you look this whole situation from a non-Ferrari fan perspective, you begin to ask for evidence that the car that looked like F150 was infact equipped with most of the F138 parts, and that there were a couple of main GP team engineers on site along the Corso Clienti crew and that the driver is employed by Ferrari - and obviously this evidence can't be produced. And lo and behold, Ferrari won the very next race after the test - even if we know that it had nothing to do with the test. That is the straw man they are waving at us. I fear that we are also going to take a hit from this if the Mercedes is :(
FIA needs to bring back in-season testing and do away with all this crap. I find it hard to even follow the latest development on this whole testing saga now. Stuff is so confusing.
Relax Frank, looks like we have won, there seems to be an agreement to have 4 inseason test sessions of two days, starting 2014.
I love it when a plan comes together![]()

[QUOTE=Kiwi Nick;788737]You must be wrong, Frank told us he will no longer follow F1. Just go back to the beginning of this thread and you'll find that what I say is true.
I think Frank is showing real passion when he said he would no longer follow F1, but we all know he would not stop watching, probably more to do with frustration, when Mercedes tested their current 2013 car, you feel that the rules are stupid, yes Mercedes were wrong to do the test. and should be punished, but all formula one teams should be able to test. This is supposed to be the pinnacle of motor racing. We at Ferrari have a race track next to the factory, we should be out there testing and improving the car, and the young drivers should be the ones doing the work load, and learning their trade.
http://www.f1zone.net/news/horner-de...medium=twitterHorner defends Ferrari amid ‘secret’ tests saga
Christian Horner has defended Ferrari, amid the controversy about ‘secret’ Pirelli tyre tests conducted by the famous Italian team as well as Mercedes.
Red Bull, whose team boss is Horner, joined Ferrari in filing an official protest when it emerged recently at Monaco that Mercedes had used its 2013 car for Pirelli tyre testing at Barcelona after May’s Spanish grand prix.
But the FIA is also investigating an earlier test, after Bahrain, in which Ferrari test driver Pedro de la Rosa tested tyres for Pirelli at Barcelona at the wheel of a client-owned 2011 F1 car.
Ferrari has dismissed that test as “irrelevant”, insisting the only rule breach was committed by Mercedes, because the German team used its current car and race drivers.
Red Bull’s Horner also defends the Maranello team.
“Ferrari’s position is different,” he told Italy’s Autosprint magazine, “because even though they used an official driver (de la Rosa), it wasn’t their 2013 car.
“The two situations (Mercedes and Ferrari) are not even comparable.”
Asked what he expects from the FIA’s investigation, Briton Horner answered: “That the matter is analysed quickly and fairly.”
Both Mercedes and Pirelli have hit back strongly at claims the Barcelona test was conducted in ‘secret’, but Horner insists it obviously was.
“You have that sort of approach when you don’t want someone to know something, otherwise they could have just announced it publicly, as they do for all their other activities,” he said.
It is also rumoured that Lewis Hamilton ‘tweeted’ supposedly from America while he was actually testing in Spain, and used a different helmet livery in order to avoid being identified.
Horner is also critical of Pirelli, rejecting the Italian supplier’s claim that it did nothing wrong.
“Everyone in F1 is subject to the rules; teams, drivers and suppliers. The rules also apply to them (Pirelli),” he insisted.
ps: anyone can easily twit from US using stuff like proxy.
I have heard from a friend, who is a sports journalist in Italy that Christian Horner told this to Gazetta Dello Sport, don't know if they have published it yet.
Edit:
Ok, Omnicorse has now published the interview with Horner. http://www.omnicorse.it/magazine/280...die-due-giorni

Finally another team backs Ferrari's legality in the way they conducted the test.

Well thank you FrankAlfa for reflecting my feelings so well.Saved me the effort.
Of course I shall watch it and I expect (hope) you will too, but it does make you soooo angry, the feeling that things are being managed and manipulated so often that it's non-news, non information, insulting to the intelligence.
Read that Vettel might retire in 5 years on the BBC site. Shock horror! So [I]might[I] every other driver!!!Some even sooner!
The trouble with F1 is that with so many gaps in the timetable between races it's felt in some quarters that the fans' interest has to be stimulated with any old garbage.
OK I'm getting worked up now. Roll on FP1....
This is a self inflicted mess caused by the FIA.
Yes Pirrelli needed some track testing and it was VERY convenient for Mercedes who we know were having problems looking after their tyres.
In 1000 Km's of running is the FIA going to say that Mercedes were not able to do any analyzing, research or make adjustments to the car, which had improved noticeably in Monaco ??.
The FIA is not in a good position to justify this breach of their own rules.
Erm what penalties can they inflict on them selves for rule breaking:twisted
Its all in the name - FERRARI
For once I would like to hear Max Mosley's opinion on this... lol
This situation with Mercedes, and Pirelli, should have been sorted out by now. This is one big mess created by the internal politics of friends, and they are all trying to get out of it.
I hope this won't become an issue either as also Pirelli used
Link
There are also talks going on about tests this season to compensate the other teams.
The person who told me, also pointed out something else the FIA is looking at, apparently the "secret" test was from May 15-17, during those days Lewis Hamilton posted photo's on his twitter page pretending to be in America, but in reality he was in Spain doing the Pirelli test. Question is, was Lewis really in America, or did he want everybody to believe he was in America?

Enzo Ferrari once drove with him and recalled even on bends "he never took his foot from the accelerator".
It is quite big of Christian Horner to step up and defend Ferrari, But I do feel this is only for their own case to get back to the old tyre situation.
I do like Stefano when other teams win and he is always first to appraise other teams for winning and doing good work. I am not sure if I have ever heard Redbull do the same they may have but maybe I have not listened hard enough!lol
I respect FrankAlfa's comments always on this site as they have always been informative and for me very true you can tell FrankAlfa is Ferrari in and out. I just hope we can keep him on our Ferrari team and TSN to keep the input we need.
Forza
It's funny how FIA got Ferrari in the same boat as Mercedes. It's a darn joke, it's all in the rules, straightforward as that. But we were asked to answer questions, put in the press as someone that actually did something bad as Mercedes and even actually had to be defended by someone like RedBull. It's a joke!!! Does FIA think that getting Ferrari, the most known and loved team in the sport, in this mess will make Mercedes and Pirelli look any better?
Very interesting read......
Why a former F1 mechanic believes Mercedes’ secret test “was a huge advantage”
http://www.f1fanatic.co.uk/2013/06/0...medium=twitter
I consider it incredibly naive at best for Pirelli to insist that Merc received no advantage from the test. How do they possibly expect to know that?! If thats what they genuinely believe then they are incredibly naive.
