German Grand Prix 2013 - Race thread

F138 has good base to build upon but sadly traction problems at all circuits hurt us.

if we voice our disappointment we are called whiners, if we feel that a driver deserves a better car we are called "fan boys"... we are Scuderia fans and we do not want to settle for mediocrity. fact is, this team is struggling and is not moving ahead... we need major changes if we are ever to challenge the Bulls... call me a whiner if you want and call me a fan boy if you like but I wont be happy until we begin to be competitive again. looking through the comments I see that others feel the same way that I do.

Ferrari has to find something also, but it doesn't look we are able to. The biggest thing we brought since 2009 were the wheel covers implemented into the rims. Now we only have the gilly rear wing. Other than that is just copy of Red Bull or McLaren. We have to come up with something. Blown diffusers, double diffusers, flexi wing, F-duct, FRIC suspension, DRD,... none of these are Ferrari's ideas.
History shows that when the regs change, there's a shuffle in the grid. Been like that for a couple of decades and don't see why that would change now. Speaking of decisive pace inventions, i'd say it's been very few. Brawn double diffuser and RBR blown diffuser. Others didn't bring much of anything, atleast huge points and title wise. Even without these kind of things we managed to pass most of the teams that invented something original in the end of the season.

Sorry everyone, but I agree with Rishu here. Hungary could be even worse. As we can see, if it's hot Lotus is blisteringly fast. If it's cold, Mercedes is blisteringly fast. Ferrari --- is just there. Fernando is a great driver, but he can't push the envelope beyond it's boundaries.

For the sake of F1, wake up or bow out.
Um, dude. If Ferrari were to bow out with some bad seasons, Ferrari would have left F1 long before Schumi came Ferrari will bounce back. It's frustrating, I feel it too, but we can't always win. Besides, Alonso has won a couple of races this season, in a dry and normal race. Pirelli did not make it easy for us after the mess they made.

Feel free to go support a more winning team if you wish.

Also why does someone in Australia pretend they are in the UK? we know you are a returning troll....

Good performance today considering from what we saw in Silverstone. P4 isn't as bad as it could have been, especially considering the recent resurgence from Mercedes. I'm optimistic that we can improve and hopefully with a bit of luck, win the WDC and 2nd in WCC! Forza Ferrari

    1) Still not clear what happened to Massa this race
    2) It's not Felipe's job to make Alonso win

We managed... by copying them thanks to our huge budget, which allowed us to do so. But we didn't invent nothing since I don't even know how long... since the banned flexi floor?

But I guess working upgrades would be enough for now.

We say our opinions, and we dont stop supporting this team.We are just talking about the truth...it is truth that clearly these years(2009-2013) are some lost years.I dont know what is wrong, and i dont think that this car has the power to give us WDC and WCC,despite Fernando's passion and team's efforts to improve it.
Remember that we are Ferrari.Ferrari it is not just a team,is a legend,is the history of f1.This situation must change quickly.

I moved. Don't you have anything better to do than spy on members and attack anyone who dares say anything negative about an incompetent team? So sad. You do realise the purpose of a forum is to share different opinions? Not just the opinion you like?

By the way, the rules are not changing "that much". Engines, lower noses and exhaust basicly behind the car. That's it. So we have to hope, that Red Bull's advantage is in those 3 areas.

Let's hope it's Kimi. He won't settle, he will be drunk most of the time. Or eating icecream.

I guess some of the members here didn't follow Ferrari in the 80's and 90's when it was much worse... the complaining is becoming childish by certain posters to be quite honest...
