We will see. I've heard some "experts" saying people will be surprised. It's not always HP that dictates speed.

Then again, you do have a point. If we did, Massa should be sacked, long time ago.

Finish on Alonso's heels and take points from the field. Massa came into this season to help Alonso. We all knew deep down he had no chance at a WDC. Fall in line like Romain did today.
If the car turns around then you can have a point, till then the car is the problem.

If we did we would not give Massa fake gearbox penalty to move Alonso forward.

Well hp is the main thing. More torque will make the car more agile, but only if you have enough traction to use it. And it was said that we will see cars sliding more, so I wouldn't say they will be able to use the torque on 100%

By the way, the cars will be heavier also...

Personally, would say that the car is our main priority. Untill it get's to a level when we can challenge pole and wins on a race to race basis, drivers will be next. RBR is always up there, race and quali wise, untill we get there and don't depend on luck and other teams screwing up, we can't expect the drivers overdriving the car for the titles.

    Of course we do!

I'll be the first to say I hated Alonso at Renault and McLaren, but he has really become a Ferrari man, and he is one of the all time greats. I am not an Alonso fan boy. I am a Ferrari fan, but watching us be happy with status quo year after year is disappointing.

With our budget, and talent, and history, and experience we shouldn't be beat like this.

And no I didn't watch the 80s. Sadly I was born in 1987. But I do remember us losing to Hakkinen and being disappointed.

Sorry that I expect more from the greatest racing team in the world. And sorry I expect big results from BOTH drivers.

    Question: what is the problem?

(Please don't answer that it is the same of Mercedes and McLaren, I know it but I don't care)
These days, having money doesn't automatically translate to performance, with all the budget limitation in place. I mean where can the team spend the extra money. Testing, nope. No more free testing. Wind tunnel, nope, that's limited too.

Do you really expect SF to make a winning car under the management it has for the last 5 seasons?

I'm referring to people who openly hope Red Bull will sign Alonso so that Alonso finally has "the car he deserves". The same type who constantly bash Ferrari.

I rather don't want the 3 weeks to end.
    I just dread Hungary.
I have 1 question to all the positive guys here...
Should we still believe that alonso can be the WDC in 2013?
I am ready to believe so.....but sadly nothing happening for it.

Have you already given up on 2014 like some others have as well?

Next year? Why not? The way i see it, there will be a lot of team pace changes. We got also Rory working on it, which i'd say is quite a change in the car development in the last few years.

no one said they hope he goes to RB, what was said was that it may happen if he doesn't get a competitive car. try reading the comments a little more closely, ok? I will say one thing though, I would love to see what he could do with a car of such quality.

You need good grip from car in all conditions on any track
You need be good on all tracks/conditions fast/slow
You don't rely on other people not DNF
Then we can start winning races
And then we can talk about championchips
I cannt remember anyone in the team at the start of the year saying WE WILL win both Championships. Media and alot of fans were saying that baecause of how we finished last year. Team will not say that because if they id, then didnt win there would be massive uproar.

No I have not given up.
But have no hope in reality ....as we will be mostly screwed in Hungary and almost certainly 1 sec off In quali.
And then apart from monza I don't see any other race where we can win ...if things stand as they are.

Ferrari have good car, so what it doesnt go well all the time. Look at Merc, look at Mclaren. RBR, just like having these kevlar tyres as they dont over heat the rubber quick as we saw at start of year.

Fernando, has contract till 2016/2017. He WILL NOT leave the team to go to another team as we aint winning like alot of fans expect all the time. Fernando, like the team see the bigger picture. This may turn out to be another miss WDC WCC, but 2014 is what we looking forward too. Smaller aero, no EBDs, more on drivetrain and KERS. Plus Newey has never built a conventional exhaust winning car (not blowing)
