    Vettel with brake problems :)

Vettel is informed on the radio that there may be an anomaly with the brakes. He slowly guides the car into the pitlane.
Vettel returns to the pits again and it looks like he's in to stay for a while. All is not well down there after the braking issue at the beginning of the session.

Alonso's out - tops the session for the moment. Looks like new cascades on the FW.

I agree. Looks like both car's handling has improved, given the state of the track currently. But they were strong at Monaco too, right?

Indeed, seems that these slower tracks suit them better..
But, on the other hand, times don't says much I think, track is dusty, it's FP1.. Everyone is evaluating tyres, definitly Merc.. I still expect Merc and RBR fastes this weekend, with Merc struggling with degradation.. our biggest problem will be how will be comparing to Lotus and perhaps other teams, if we start below third row, it's going to be very hard

According to McLaren, it might be the new Camber settings rules that may be helping them.

McLaren thinks the restricted tire pressure and camber might help them

Alonso P1. Wonder if it's helping us too

Not want to be pessimistic, but let's see what the rest of the weekend will bring to us.. On paper this track won't be good for us, nothing much is going to change that suddenly.. Hopefully we can do well in qualy, but I don't expect us to be a match for RBR and Merc so, biggest worry is Lotus I think..

We are strong in S1 and S2. Loosing in S3.

Sector times are still changing, as the track evolves, so posting the latest ones would not be representative.

    - What we can say, based on how the sector times are changing, that Red Bull is better than us in S1 and S3, we are stronger in S2. But it looks close.

    - I would say that only Lotus has a clear advantage in S3, but they are slower in the previous 2 sectors

We're loosing in S3 because of understeer.. suppose we can make some changes to "cure" this..

Lack of traction is causing understeer

What I meant was that we can "cure" this understeer slightly by adjusting front wing angles, ofcourse I don't mean we can "cure" allt he problems of our car..
