    Indeed,
but I think it's very important that we consider the fact that this track in theory should be goog for RBR and bad for us, so I don't think we are doing that bad.. but still, qualy will be very close between us Merc and Lotus, we NEED to win that fight!

Nothing new here. The tyres seem to suit RB. Let's hope at least, from now on our qualifying positions will be in the first two rows. It's the only way we can fight with them.

well in teh past we seemed to be good in race pace trim; is it safe to say that we might have sacrificed some race pace for some quali pace
So the SF-24 has been a decent car. Lets hope that the totally redesigned from the ground up SF-25 contender will be a beast that will give us tifosi something to smile about.

    Watch Vettel dominate.

Wait three weeks, watch Vettel dominate again.

Wait a month for more Vettel domination.

Oh boy, this is so much fun.

Well we had our share of domination in the past!
I know it's hard but that's life we have to live with it!!
The only thing we can do is to hope that next time we will be in better shape!!

Im not giving it up yet..I'll bet we have more speed to get.
IF it comes down to fairly even race pace, I'll take Alonso
    over Vettel any day.
We've had some good race pace earlier in the year and
I think we've found the form again.
    Felipes looking good too.

That doesn't mean I have to like it. Forgive me if I'd much rather it be a Ferrari dominating.

Sno problemo here..Matter of fact, I'll take Ferrari utter domination
    every race.
Notice how much closer we were to the front after P2 compared to P1?
Going 2 b an interesting race 4 sure.

Hmmm not really much words of encouragement here ...
as I'm on road trip in California (now in Lone Pine) I can follow hardly the FPs and Qualifying ....

So sounds not good ... Seems there will be no birthday present for me this weekend :(

    @Redarmysoja
I know exactly what you mean ... same for me ...

But unfortunately we can not change it or have influence to it

    Hope the best!
"If I was driving for Red Bull [from 2008] probably I would have more championships, but because they were dominating between 2010 and 2014 probably I would never have driven for Ferrari. I am very happy and very proud to drive for Ferrari, all my time there.

If we don't start cutting SV lead from this sunday any given sunday, it is goin to be very, very, very though for FA to beat SV in the title chase.

What Pirelli did still leave a bad taste in my mouth.

Every season, teams are given the chance to learn the new tires and design their car to make the most out of it. Ferrari and Lotus got it right, it's too bad for Red Bull even if their car was technically faster but being restrained by the tires. The tire is part of racing. If Red Bull can fix their car and come back, I don't have a problem with that.

Unfortunately, Pirelli messed up, start changing the tires and now we're back to something the Red Bull dreams off. It just fell right into their lap.

Got to watch FFP bit later, so by looks of it new Pirelli tyres suiting RBR then? Thanks Pirelli, should be upto team and drivers to decide the WDC WCC, not just tyres.

We looking ok i take it, no doom and gloom (so far)

We need to face facts, almost stop developing the 2013 car, and start putting the vast majority (90%) of our efforts into the 2014 car.

Then we need to get Newey.

Not from next year amico mio, aero isnt going to play as big a factor of what we have had for past couple years. More on engine and power-train.

    Agree with that
Fernando over vettel any time! You can dat vettel is a Good racer, fine, but he s really stupid.. I don't like him.. it's just something, the way fer behaves and everything it's perfect for Ferrari, same for Felipe

Disagree. We are in championship hunt and everything can happen in F1. We are looking good. Switching focus to 2014 is not reasonable IMO.

Ok, but! 2014 will depend on engine, if you nail it, you are going to win, if you don't you loose, engine will be very important so... Aero less so I wouldn't say 90%y

Look, we are Ferrari we are not any team, sure, I wanna win, I wanna dominate, last 3 years we lost from RBR but I'm so ---- proud, I wouldnt ever consider becoming a RBR fan or any other team, we support, it's our passion, in bad and good days, forever

Please do not try to get around the swear filter. Thanks. TSN Mod

You're right but it's not looking a realistic possibility when we're still playing catch-up mid-way through the season unless Vettel suffers reliability issues, he's always there and usually at the front from the start. Until we can do that, we don't stand much chance, but as you say, we are still in the running and all is not yet lost.

Then it will be like old times, fast car in the straights with a handling of a truck, but thats why we have best drivers in the world to do it!

Meanwhile, it either says something or just nothing that Alonso, Schumacher and Raikkonen have reputedly spared a F1 podium on five occasions and Fernando has stood on the top step on every occasion. He's F1's first among equals. (PG)

I say 2 more races SV finish couple of places in front of FA and it is over for 2013. yes, yes, yes. Mathematical chances are still there, but let's be realistic. FA needs go start finishing races in front of SV regulary to make WDC happen this year.

if we nail the engine next year then we should be good, I agree, if the original aero changes were implemented aka ground effect etc, I would be saying, move development now, but the aero changes are not massive next year! Keep pushing and see how it goes!
