I think we are there in the leading group of cars. We are not the fastest but we are close. We have not been this close for a while now. It feels good!

Improved quali pace at the expense of race pace? If so, I hope it's just for this race or it would be another side-step again.

Exactly. Race pace still important, but not as much as say, Silvertone, Spa places like that. Its hard to overtake, tight track, so small dip in race pace here, shouldnt really make us that bad.

I would be extremely happy with a second row quail. As long as vettel is not p1!

I bet RB know this as well. So wait for qualy and we will see. Second raw will be a miracle for us, third raw looks more likely.

Fair enough sacrifice race speed for quali speed on a track where you can't overtake but whats the point if we are still behind vettel and red bull, and in the race they will just clear off into the distance if we have sacrificed our race pace ??

Yes, we seem 0,8-1sec off the RB and Lotus pace in race trim, unless we ran more fuel...

On mediums we aren't there, so that's softs for us, and probably everybody, in Q1, same in Q2, than it's a strategical choice for the race: medium or softs in Q3.. It's foolish to take the mediums for this track so, unless the pace is really bad.. I still think RBR is miles ahead, they weren't even preparing for qualy.. so, question will be, will Merc be able to take on the softs immediatly and do a good lap, they seem to struggle on the softs.. Perhaps we can benefit, but between us Lotus and Merc can be close, so perfect lap and hoping for a good result.. Stil, for the race, I think RBR got it, but you never know what happens.. Hopefully, Mark challenges Vettel, and Lotus is also very quick

No need to run softs in Q1, unless we are p12 or down on meds

There's a big differece between the tyres.. if we don't and sauber, williams, perhaps force india start to do so because they are forced by "teams below them" we also need to do so, 100% sure, so if we start with softs, we at least save mediums for the race..

People the Redbull cars all are in a league of their own,get over it but we push like hell like we did in 2010 and 2012 we gave them hell, I can recall pessimists from Mrach 2012 declaring bye bye Championship But it didn't happen and all came down to just 3 points (which we could have easily won had it not been for the Lotus Guys) so its still ON...Championship is long and soon the tide of luck will be on our side aswell and I pray that Fernando and Ferrari win this Championships IA....
