31.4 seconds off the lead for Fernando and he didn't put a foot wrong during the whole race. Actually considering that the Mercedes, Lotus and Red Bull were all faster than us it's a miracle we are fifth. Vettel with a damaged front wing doing laps our guys couldn't even dream, how disheartening is that.

    Finally
Meanwhile, it either says something or just nothing that Alonso, Schumacher and Raikkonen have reputedly spared a F1 podium on five occasions and Fernando has stood on the top step on every occasion. He's F1's first among equals. (PG)

    well... maybe next time

I hope that we can somehow figure a way to make our car bit more competitive... Fernando got all he could out of the car but even his magic cant create pace. summer break is here, maybe when they get the cars home they can try to figure out why Ferrari is so slow.

I've grown used to us being beaten by 2 RBRs, attributed to an aerodynamics genius.
But today we're beaten by a Lotus ( could have been both if one hadn't had a drive through) and a Merc and Massa by a McLaren too.

    And the reason is.........?

I have always said it much easier to fix fast car than make average car fast.
Meanwhile, it either says something or just nothing that Alonso, Schumacher and Raikkonen have reputedly spared a F1 podium on five occasions and Fernando has stood on the top step on every occasion. He's F1's first among equals. (PG)

That was yet another embarrassing performance. They must be having a laugh if they think they're going to win the title with displays like that. The technical department has been nowhere near for a number of years and I don't see much room for optimism.

keep dreaming RB will never get Alonso, they have Vettel and they consider him better ... if alonso feels he waste time in this great team, then he can go , there's many talented drivers that can help Ferrari develope a car and get a WCC and WDC for him..

So "The tyre eater" Mercedes wins the hottest race of the calender, Red bull and Lotus improving race by race.....it seems everyone moves forward except us.

We are just gonna keep calm.

We are a good 0.8-1.0 seconds off the pace... Fernando can get you 0.4 or so. Not a full second though sadly.

There's only one word for our team pathetic. Not much else to say. A great driver in Alonso given 2nd rate machinery, wake up Ferrari. How many more years of this crap do we have to put up with.

Look like the wrong people left Ferrari, they have to think about another year,Alonso falling back in the championchip, clearly have lost there eye on perfecting the car.

Was watching the 3rd practice session live yesterday and the Ferrari team was more than half the session in the pits, why, not that they are the fastest car on track.

Don't know what to think about this team any more they don't have the talent to build a good car for Alonso/Massa.

If they don't wake up McLaren will pass them, then we will be the 5th fastest team.

That is not funny, it is possible they ruined race pace by improving Q pace.

Yeah, Mercedes's development pace is insane. So is ours
