Luca tells Alonso to shut up, making offer to Kimi, Fry time has pass. What will they think of next.![]()
Is this article for real?.
Alonso said that to the media, not Montezemolo. Not suprised by this article as is writted by Kimi boyfriend number 1, HEIKKI KULTAWhen di Montezemolo called Fernando to ask what he wants for a birthday present, his reply was "another team's car".
Thing is, everyone knows Alonso...he voices when he's upset. Look at his actions with previous teams.
Craziness at Reno, disrespect to Ron Dennis. What makes you think he will be any different at Ferrari?
Funny how this article pops up at exactly the same time the article about his mgr meeting w/RB popped up.
And Sainz Jr? Articles say he is in no hurry to get in F1...so if thats the case, why is his mgr really talking to RB???
I think there is more to it. 4 years at Ferrari may be enough for FA and Alonso's words may be the start of the "getting out" process that
both he and Luca must do for everyone to save face.
The games afoot!
I can just imagine what will happen come SPA and Ferrari is still struggling and no podium.
Yep, there's no smoke without fire..
What craziness??? Who is Reno. He was part of no craziness at Renault, if that is what you mean.
Sorry, but Mclaren screwed him, or should i say Ron Dennis. Everybody who has a chip on their shoulder about Hungary 2007 must remember that Alonso should have had the first place on the track. The team told all the drivers and mechanics this. Some idiot forgot how team instructions work and ignored them.( just like he forgot what a red light means when he drove into Kimi in Canada )
Just as Vettel ignored team orders to not pass Webber(multi21), LH ignored team orders to let Alonso have first track time in qually. That p'ed Alonso off and i still say parking his car in the pitbox was absolutely classic move and thus robbing LH of enough time to qualify. The bad press towards Alonso and no mention of LH wrongdoing started by the o so impartial media, still fuel's absolute nonsense being directed at Alonso.
With regards to so many Italian people taking side with Alonso on this matter, maybe Luca should have saved face by not doing all he did in the public domain. Nobody thought Alonso was disrespectful towards the team when he wished "for a car as fast as his rivals" for his birthday.
The game is afoot. I'm just not sure who really is playing and who is being played.
"Thing is, everyone knows Alonso...he voices when he's upset. Look at his actions with previous teams.

Never believed it at the time and still don't believe it now. This is what Lesky is referring to though.

Fernando Alonso has sensationally accused Renault of sabotaging his title campaign by making intentional errors during the Chinese Grand Prix.
Alonso lost the lead in both Sunday's Shanghai race and the Drivers'
Championship after Renault put the wrong tyres on his car during his
first pit-stop and then compounded the error by bungling his second
stop.
And according to the Spaniard, the 'mistakes' happened
because Renault don't want him to retain the World title as he's
leaving for McLaren at the end of this season.
"They wanted us to finish second and third because they do not want me to take the number 'one' to a different team," he told Spanish newspaper AS.
"They are not helping me as much as they could."
The 25-year-old went on to claim that Renault are now only interested in
the outcome of the Constructors' race. "Some [at Renault] are happy
because we went past Ferrari in the team battle," he said.
With two races to go, Renault have a one-point lead over Ferrari in the
Constructors' Championship, while Alonso is second in the Drivers'
standings because even though he has the same number of points as
Michael Schumacher, the Ferrari driver has won more races this year.
Are you kidding me Greig? How can you not remember that? It was frequently discussed and amazed people on this board.

Found it quickly when I googled: "Alonso sabotage Renault", I do not have time to dig after more sources, but its all available if you google more.

Renault out to stop me: Alonso - F1 champ accuses his team of making deliberate errors to deny him the title.
FERNANDO Alonso has sensationally accused Renault of sabotaging his campaign to win the drivers championship for the second straight season.
He claims his team made intentional errors during Sundays Chinese Grand Prix, in which he finished second to a revitalised Michael Schumacher and Ferrari.
His teammate Giancarlo Fisichella came in third.
He believes the mistakes happened because Renault did not want him to retain the world title as he is leaving for McLaren at the end of the season.
Alonso, who started on pole position, lost the lead after his team put the wrong tyres on his car during his first pit-stop.
They also bungled his second stop.
The right-wheel nut fell out of the securing gun, and the pit stop dragged for 19.2 seconds. Renault say they are still investigating the matter.
Considering that Alonso came in only 3.1 seconds behind Schumacher, the delay was critical.
Just 20 laps into the race, the data screens in front of the Renault engineers also went blank.
One does not have to be a conspiracy theorist to entertain the vision of an unseen hand flicking a switch or uncoupling a connection.
Renault wanted me and Fisichella to finish second and third because they do not want me to take the No 1 to a different team, he told Spanish television.
They are not helping me as much as they could.
The Spanish papers agreed, with Mondays edition of Marca writing: Alonso has an enemy in his own camp.
AS is convinced Renault is preventing an Alonso victory.
The 25-year-old went on to claim that his team are only interested in the outcome of the constructors race.
With two races left Japan on Sunday and Brazil two weeks later Renault have a one-point lead over Ferrari.
Alonso, with 116 points, is second in the drivers standings. He is tied on points with Schumacher, but the Ferrari driver has won one more race.
His frustration is understandable. At one point, he had a 25-point lead over the German.
This is not the first time this season that the Spaniard has seen conspiracies.
He alluded to forces working against him when FIA dropped him from fifth to 10th on the grid for last months Italian GP for impeding Ferraris Felipe Massa in qualifying.
He said it was because FIA wants Schumacher to be world champion.
He also saw FIA favouring the German when it banned the mass damper system meant to assist the work of the front suspension after Ferraris technicians failed to make it tick.
The decision handicapped Renault, who had built their car around it and competed without protest for more than a year.
Sundays race in Japan is crucial for Alonso.
If Schumacher wins and he fails to score a point, the German will lift his eighth drivers title before retiring.
He has yet to win at Suzuka in six races, while Schumacher loves racing there.
The German is all confidence, saying:Im looking forward to the fight.

LOL any real source?
Forza Ferrari
I remember major errors from Renault that year, the wheelnut, charging him the double amount of fuel and so on, and probably Briatore playing some mind games with him behind the scenes, but...... he was paranoid that's for sure, but I fail to see how is that relevant 7 years later.
Who needs the media when we have our own members to stir things up in ways that would have made Andrew Benson proud.
This is going to be a long 4 months break. Really wished Ferrari did not posted that article.
Yup...splendid job by Ferrari's PR department..,
And, we, the public, probably never will know the whole story!!
So, we have two options:
1) take everything we read in the press as being true and continue to speculate, without direct confirmation of the parties involved; or,
2) ignore the "facts" as they are being presented in the media and have faith that Ferrari knows what its doing...
We're stuck between a rock and a hard place, either way, it's going to be a loooooong time before the next race!!![]()
Think about it. Why would Abad be talking to Horner about Sainz? Horner is TP of Red Bull. Abad should be talking to Tost, TP of Torro Rosso not Horner. And why talk to Horner now? And why such a reaction from Luca so soon after on Alonso's birthday? Luca sent this message to Alonso on his birthday not by mistake but on purpose. I could be wrong but I think Alonso is considering leaving. It all boils down to paperwork now so I fear a decision has already been made. Red Bull recruiting Alonso is a direct response to the 2 strong drivers that Mercedes have both capable of winning the WDC in the future as Mercedes is a team that they need to worry about - a team going on the up and also to weaken Ferrari when the opportunity presents itself. This is a perfect opportunity for Red Bull to take on Alonso - they may not get this chance ever again. I think Alonso has been giving warnings before about the lack of performance from the car but Ferrari have failed to react successfully. Of course, this could all be media spin but the biggest clue here that all isn't so well is the publication by no other than Ferrari themselves. To publically admonish a driver like that for all the effort that he has put in and the rest of the paddock know this without a doubt may make future replacement drivers think again before joining Ferrari.
If this gets really messy and the car's peformance still doesn't improve later this year and next year's car is still not competitive, there might be real pressure on Luca to step down. I really hope it doesn't come to this.
What worries me is that so many misquoted truths are reported on as facts and sold as in newspapers and on forum sites and that people really believe any and every bodies version of it except the real one.
In a years time, if Ferrari does anything controversial tyre related, you will hear a whole squadron of Merc supporters coming down on F1 forums attacking this years legal Ferrari tyre test with Pirelli, but crying about only Merc was investigated and handed a penalty.
It took so long for anybody to publicly state that the test was in no way the same and that the Ferrari test was the only legal one, that news sites reported it as if Ferrari was also guilty even though any motorsport journalist would have had more than enough info to know that it was not. And those Merc fans or even anyone that don't like Ferrari who made up their minds to believe that are sure as hell not going to change their opinion just because of the FIA ruling. Their minds have already accepted it as the truth, because it makes them feel better about the Merc (so called) penalty and anyone who remembers it like it really happened, with all the facts, must be under the mind control of the biased Ferrari controlled FIA.

Would you like to tell me exactly what that would serve? I don't believe it's Luca's fault this is going on. I believe that there are others that are at fault here. Domenicalli, yes, that man needs to be replaced, and I am confident Luca has seen it -finally. But I am not sure who could replace Luca.
"If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari" - Gilles Villeneuve
Rest in Peace Leza, you were a true warrior...
No, the truth is Alonso said that he was leaving to McLaren and Renault were not as focused on getting the WDC as they were on the WCC. I think it happened once they had won the WCC but Alonso still had to fight for the WDC. Nothing about sabotage.
As I remember it, it was not like saying "they don't want that I take #1 to McLaren, they are sabotaging me". It was like saying they don't care as much because I'm taking #1 to some other team.
