    Great news! Welcome back Kimi!

We will have the strongest driver line-up next year, and with guys like Allison and Byrne working on the design, there are no more excuses. What's great is that if one driver makes a mistake or doesn't deliver, we can rely on the other to get the job done. Looking forward to 2014!!

I bet the Red Cows feel silly now.

Hmmm... Let's wait and see about RB feeling silly. First thing first, Ferrari need to build good car for them to be able to deliver...

Don't think this was the better decision. It seems taking Kimi is a hedge against Alonso in case he leaves. I'm not sure it will create harmony in the team. It's obvious Kimi has come in because of money and potentially a competitive car. He doesn't like how the politics work at Ferrari. He has said this late last year. But if he has changed and it seems he has then it's good for us. But why take such a gamble when it previously turned sour before? Don't understand the logic! Like I said the primary reason is because they are unsure what Alonso will do in the future despite Alonso trying his best to downplay it.

Think Luca wants to see how Hulkenberg performs at a low tier top team and take it from there. The risk with that is he might get snapped up by McLaren or Mercedes. I also think we are making a space available for Vettel. Alonso will have his hands full these coming years!

But make no mistake it does look silly that he we paid him to leave and we're probably paying him extortionate amounts to rehire him. But perhaps the thinking was more to not let Red Bull have another very strong driver?

All in all I hope it pays off.

Welcome back The Kimster, although not exactly unexpected, sad to see Felipe go, but feel we have the strongest driver line up on the grid now, and that can only be a good thing for the team, I liked Kimi first time he was at Maranello, got no problem with his return, certainly think Fernando and Kimi can take the fight to Red Bull, really looking forward to next season now...

Finally we got rid of Alonso's pet to make room for the real and the only Ferrari champion that is still present in F1. Now I guess it's all up to Alonso to do his part of the job, which is to throw his toys out of the pram like in 2007 and soon we will have Kimi - Hulk at our beloved team or even better, Kimi - Vettel some time in the future.

i wonder how many toys will be thrown when kimi is comfortably beaten by Fernando? guess i have to just wait a bit and see how that one year option won't be necessary...

Can't wait to see him eulogise on how much he loves Ferrari and how passionate he is about the prancing horse.

    Welcome to the forum...

Antagonistic posts like this will only serve to cause friction and confrontation between members, any further posts like this and your stay here will be very short, don't be surprised when that happens if you continue to post in this fashion...

There has been way too much talk about drivers lately, even on this forum, but the most important thing is that we are all Ferrari fans and are eagerly awaiting the day when we start ripping those Red Bulls to pieces and chewing them up.

The team has finally chosen Kimi to drive alongside Alonso, both are extremely fast and talented drivers (arguably amongst best three or four on the grid), and we hope that they will work as hard as possible to help Ferrari regain the top spot it deserves.

This season, they are second and fourth in the championship, with cars that are half a second per lap slower than the Red Bull. Let's give them both the right equipment, and very soon it will be Vettel complaining about the blinking red light in front of him............

Prior to the rumor, I would be extremely surprise if anyone suggested Kimi would return. But I guess there's something Ferrari saw in the present Kimi after his F1 hiatus.

I'm sorry I'm still skeptical. But for the team's sake, I hope I'm wrong and Kimi is indeed a different driver now and he can contribute to the team.
